Ixamyakxim: Hey speaking of this were any of our European friends able to check out the eclipse?

HypersomniacLive: *timidly raises hand*

Though to tell the truth, it was only partially visible here, and with the sun playing hid and seek all day with some heavy clouds, the experience was not as anticipated. Still pretty cool though.
I got a laugh out of the "timidly" LOL

EndreWhiteMane: I have one standing next to me giving me that 'I want something from you but I don't know what' stare right now. :-)
Oh yes I remember your mention of yours before. I love it when they aren't sure what they want (I swear it's even more funny with boxers because you KNOW 8 times out of 10 they know exactly what they're after). My guy is so funny when he doesn't know - I'll ask him to show me and he just sort of wanders from room to room but is totally noncommital at all his usual stops. He's being needy and I get such a kick out of it.

*big welcome hug* How are you today?
Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. =)

Hopefully your day will continue being good if it already is, or stop being a pain in the ass and improve if it isn't.

You're welcome. =)

Can't complain too much here. Haven't been torturing myself, just got my invite thing for Galaxy, so now I'm clearing my updates out of the way so I can start with their request to install as many games as possible.
It might not have all my games showing on there yet, but with 476 that are, I should be able to test out its ability pretty well.
(Good thing I don't have a cap on my internet...)
I went to the doc and I'll be back on monday. I can walk fine with some slight pain and I'm going to the mall later. Received my first paycheck and I'll spend it on vidya gaems.

Yes, a very good thing, indeed~! Oh how I *don't* miss the days of bandwidth restrictions~!

So you're feeling better, it'll keep improving, and you've got video game money? That's a triple win right there. ;)

Funnily enough? Never had a service provider who did that, even in the comparatively dark days of 2000. -laughs-

Additional - tiny bit of a mindblower that 2000 was 15 frigging years ago. Time perception is all kinds of weird.

I know~! I can't believe it's almost April already ;_; Time is going SO FAST!

The bandwidth restriction days were only here at work, but I also remember the days of my painfully slow dial-up. I can't imagine going back to that kind of molasses-slow speed~!

Yeah, paradoxically enough, on a micro- scale, you can sit around sometimes and it feels like everything is dragging, but on a big picture level, it feels like you can blink and a frigging year passes.

No, no, no. No more dialup. Ever. I remember downloading music at that speed. 20 minutes a damned song....

We had a bandwith restriction back then. It was quite normal and the standard you got before flatrates became the new standard. The reason my mum allowed as to change to a flatrate was that I showed her an online game I was playing and she got interested in it. And I told her that we would need a flatrate if she also wanted to play it :D

An online/MMO thing without flat rate internet seems like it would be begging to get charged silly for using too much.
Good job using the game to get her to make the switch, also.
