moonshineshadow: Ah I really like the pictures you are always posting. They make me smile.
So if Endre is cleaning your house tomorrow he could stop at my home on Sunday :P
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Might as well make the rounds as long as I'm travelling. :-)
I think you could have quite an interesting and fun time if you woud visited all the places we are from :-)

Ixamyakxim: Hey speaking of this were any of our European friends able to check out the eclipse?
I wanted to, but then I hat meetings to attend at work and missed it.

EndreWhiteMane: Hasn't DD told you guys about my telescope? You'll have to ask her sometime. :-)

Yeah, we saw it this morning. Pretty awe inspiring.
It was a bit cloudy, but not enough to obscure it completely. We got about 95% eclipse or something where we are.

EndreWhiteMane: Hi there Boxer Person! ( that's a lot easier than whatever the heck your username is ) :-)
LOL I have to copy / paste it myself whenever I need to post it in a thead here. And yes certainly a full on Boxer Person so no worries there!

Bummer for you but lucky adalia! Amazing that it was almost fully eclipsed. Our old ancestors might have been losing their minds at an Equinox Eclipse - glad we can appreciate it without being as concerned ;) I really should look into when I'll be able to see a good solar eclipse.

I loved that I opened up my browser today and there was an article talking about how this event was so rare and impossible to see that it wouldn't happen again for... 19 years. That's like 7 seconds from now in astronomical time LOL. If I can watch one, and the other and not be in diapers for both it's not that long a time ;)

Lol. Considering I've seen two in my lifetime already and I'm fairly sure I'll still be around for the next one it's certainly rich calling it rare.
Now comets, they are a rare astronomical event :)

It's funny, our cat was going a bit bonkers, not sure if she knew or noticed or if it was unrelated. But it definitely confused the birds, they didn't know what time of day it was...
Hey guys! How's everyone doing?

Works fine for me, and apparently also for Endre. Time to make other plans for tomorrow. ;-D

adaliabooks: Why, have you been peeking too? :P
Hmm... you know what, I don't remember anymore, perhaps Endre had sent me? ;-P

*timidly raises hand*

Though to tell the truth, it was only partially visible here, and with the sun playing hid and seek all day with some heavy clouds, the experience was not as anticipated. Still pretty cool though.
Good Morning All:-)
