EndreWhiteMane: Thanks. No I have everything I want from the promo except Avernum 2. Haven't finished the first one yet so it can wait for a better discount.
Now you have me worried. I make a comment saying if there is anything else I can do feel free to ask, and not one provocative ladies man comment at all. :-)

Do you have anything nice planned for the weekend?

LaPtiteBete: Hey DD !! :-D How is your day going ?
avatar
ddickinson: Hello, Owl! *hello hug*

My day is going food so far. I am doing some more work on the next greenhouse. We put them on hold for a while but as it's currently time to harvest the Winter crops and plant the Summer crops, I thought I would try to get the greenhouses finished.

How has your day been so far? Are you looking forward to the weekend?
Jeez... Sounds like you'll have a lot of work... What kind of crops do you have ? :)
My day is being pretty nice, even if I'm still tired... It doesn't seem to pass, no matter how much coffee I drink... :-| ... I guess I'll feel fully rested and awaken when I get back home :-D as owlways... (and YES, of course I'm looking forwards the weekend \o/ ... tomorrow I'll do some shopping with my son (I'll try to get his mind off things... and buy him a few trousers... he has grown up so quickly !) , and in the evening we'll celebrate my Dad's birthday... what about you ?...)

Not sure if anyone is into orchestral music but this is wonderful:

Watch the conductor, eyes closed, hearing every note and correcting with tiny shakes or nods of his head.
Truly amazing.

EndreWhiteMane: Morning/day/evening everyone. No way I could read all the posts today but just in skimming I see some good days, tired days and crappy days.
Hope things improve for those of you with not so good days very soon.
I'll number myself among the not so good days, nothing special, just some very stressful real life stuff going on.
Hugs, handshakes, waves or punch in the nose to everyone. (Choose only one please)
Hello Endre !!!
Sorry to read that you're having a not-so-good day... :-(
Real life stuff is sometimes really annoying... I hope you'll find a solution, and quick...
I'll go for a **Big cheering-up Hug** (and avoid carefully the punch in the beak)

Too bad I can't play it right now, but I love orchestral music, and I know a little of Tchaikovsky's work... :)

We do lots of different crops, some are due to be harvested soon, while others are about to be planted ready for the spring and summer growth season. My brothers and dad look after the crops mainly, I help as well, but I tend to do odd jobs and look after the animals for the most part.

Hopefully a restful weekend will help you feel more rested and less tired. Shopping with your son sounds nice, I hope you will both have a very nice time shopping together. Happy birthday Owl's Dad!

I am at work on Saturday, and on Saturday night me and my partner are starting our late night play of Outlast. We will probably be playing it until the early hours of the morning. The nice thing about Sunday is that I don't have to be at work and it doesn't matter what time we go to bed or wake up.

Classical music is my favourite. I have actually had Tchaikovsky's Overture 1812 stuck in my head for most of the day, mainly the last part.

Thanks, bookmarked.
There isn't a great deal I like from the old composers but Tchaikovsky is a favorite.
Some seem to have thought that the worse they assaulted your eardrums the better the piece. ;)

I'm quite the opposite, I love a lot of the old composers, but I agree that some are less refined than others. I saw Overture 1812 live when I was younger, complete with real cannons. I often go to see some classical concerts when they are shown nearby, or when I travel to a bigger city with a good concert hall.
And there's Pillars of Eternity staring at me, right on the front page.
Requiring a nearly brand new machine to even think of being able to play.
Damn!

The game does seem to have very high specs for the type of game it is and the graphics it has. But then lots of new games seem to have very high requirements, while similar games from other developers use a lot less. I guess it goes on how much optimisation the developers are willing to do.

Which version of the game are you thinking of getting?

Hero edition, that'd be more than I've ever spent for a game as it is.

Oooo... Shiny :-D
I play very few fantasy RPGs, but Obsidian has not let me down yet...
Too much for my system, though... I have the minimum graphics card, but my OS, CPU, and RAM are all way behind...

My laptop has everything except video. The Intel 4000 that's in it is about 6 steps below the minimum. :(

Thank you for posting that, a truly remarkable performance. He is one of the finest conductors of his generation, imo. It is amazing to think that all 3 siblings are such incredibly gifted musicians, I think that is very rare indeed.

You just made my day. Thank you - and I hope that your day goes better and at least the music made you smile. And a big plus 1 as well.

:-)
Sounds like someone wants to hugged again!
