It's my birthday - woo. I'd be more excited about it if other things were going better. As it is, I have a pumpkin pie for dessert, as I don't like cake, and I'm pondering whether or not I can afford any of the point-and-clicks that were released today. (Loom! Dig! Zak McKracken! Monkey Island 2!) I think they're taunting me. At least they had good timing, other than the whole lack of money part. :P

Hopefully everyone else is having a good day, or at least is feeling better than I am.

It is, and thank you. No, I don't mind the question - I'm 39. That means I've been playing computer/console games for... 31 years? Maybe 32; I can't remember when we got our first computer. ("I was a girl gamer geek before girl gamer geeks were cool!")

Yay. Birthdays. They kinda sorta suck tons of ass.

You're a good person, so I hope things get better. Birthdays in general can still go fuck themselves, though.

Also, pumpkin pie does sound better than cake. Wouldn't dry out like cake does.

I'd say this is off-topic, but as this is a free-for-all thread, I don't think I CAN go off-topic! Mahaha

I'd love to see some votes for Ori and the Blind Forest to come to GOG. Check it out here:

Yeah, off topic's not really doable.

Someone could start talking to and eventually arguing with themselves about the superiority of mashed versus whipped potatoes, and it'd still work. And be pretty funny by the time they started screaming about it.

Penumbren's part of the Girls Gang XD Moony, you're female too, are you not? (Not that it matters, that is simply my perception ;) )

I'm going to be 42 at the end of May. I like my birthday, although for the longest time I was embarrassed and upset by gifts. I've learned to accept that I am worth it, and no longer have a problem with accepting gifts (thank goodness -- it's an uncomfortable feeling!)

The birthday is just another day, yet it's also a day to celebrate yourself, and YOU DESERVE IT! I think it's also a great day to celebrate your mother, who went through so much on the day you were born all those years ago. ^__^
