moonshineshadow: Yep. No need for more Star Wars stuff, more adventures to back up my disks would be ok :D
Are there any LA adventure games you have never played? It would be nice to be able to get some new games as well as some to back up disks.

LaPtiteBete: Hello DD !!
** Good morning restful Hug **
I'm feeling good, thanks... but tired...
I read you didn't sleep "very" much either ? :) as usual...

I don't know about you, but here the site is still running pretty badly :(
Very slow, GOG bears everywhere... eating my posts... it's getting really annoying..
Hello, Owl! *big hug*

I am glad you are feeling good. I slept okay, not perfect, but better than I have been doing lately.

The site is running slow for me as well, but so far this morning no GOG bears. I have lost the occasional post, which can be annoying.

toxicTom: ...
I can understand that. Hopefully she will find something she can enjoy that is easily accessible for you.

avatar
AgentBirdnest: Meh... I can deal with a harpoon in the leg :-)

Good morning, DD. *big hug*
I'm not quite sure about that. Did I mention I used this harpoon gun? :-)

*big return hug*

avatar
CarrionCrow: Good morning, D, Owl, L0rd.

Hopefully your mornings are going well. =)

Really wishing GOG had a multi-reply, but since they don't, I'm putting greetings all together so I'm not throwing out three posts in a row.

-passes Owl a big cup of coffee- Just got through making some.
Good morning, Crow! *morning hug*

I hope you are doing well today?

avatar
LaPtiteBete: NOLF ?... What is NOLF ? :-| ... (suddenly feling badly off the mark...)
It's a game called No One Lives Forever (I think?).

Yep, Full Throttle and The Dig. So if they are released here I would be quite happy :D

Aside from the whole still wanting to break something thing, I'm okay. Price of being an idiot.
Just need to breathe for a minute and calm down.

Glad to hear your morning is going well overall. Will continue to keep fingers crossed that you're able to get back to the usual 4 to 5 hours rest soon.

AgentBirdnest: Good morning, Owl!
*Limping towards you to give you a really big hug*

I'm sticking to my prediction for today's surprise... I think we'll get NOLF :-)
avatar
LaPtiteBete: Hum... Shouldn't we try to remove this harpoon from your leg, first... ?
(you remind me a guy who was used to be an adventurer... then he took an arrow in the knee... probably another DD's friend...)
NOLF ?... What is NOLF ? :-| ... (suddenly feeling badly off the mark...)
** Big healing and comforting Hug **
Don't worry about it... After having them cut off by a Chainsword yesterday, the harpoon almost feels good ;-P
NOLF? Only the best video game of all time; No One Lives Forever. The reason I became an Agent! :-)
**Big thank you hug**
avatar
CarrionCrow: It's back and forth. Still trying, just failing a bit. And I think my stress ball is leaking. -laughing hard-

Glad to hear you're doing well, despite the crap to do and not feeling like doing it.
Just remember that the "back" is not a fail, as long as you put a "forth" right behind :) it's only one more step. Maybe you should get another stress ball :-D what about a Super Meat ball ? ^^

I think I missed out on most of the LA games growing up, so for me most of them will be new games, which is nice. It will give me something to add to my wishlist, as I am trying not to buy any more games for myself this year until I have my backlog played, or at least part of the backlog played. :-)

I am sorry to hear you are feeling annoyed and wanting to break something. Sorry if you have already mentioned it, but what has you so annoyed?

Thank you, hopefully another week or so and I will be back to normal with my sleep.

At this point, if I did that, it wouldn't last long. I'd probably take a cleaver from the other room and chop the frigging thing in half.
Thank you for the suggestion, though. =)

Just got through screwing up my entire Meat Boy run and essentially rendering the whole thing from the wrist damage to the partially broken controller null and void.
Given that I was 89 hours in and less than 10 levels from 100 percent, I am not pleased with myself.

I hope they will get Day of the Tentacle, you need to play that. My most favorite Adventure ever :D

Hey now, no need to feel stupid, we can't be expected to know everything. I did not know what Agent meant at first when he mentioned it yesterday. It's better to ask than to keep quiet, I'm sure we don't mind answering question no matter how silly they are (not that your question was silly).

As the old saying goes:
"She who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; she who does not ask a question remains a fool forever."

Well if it's that good, I guess I can make an exception and buy that one to add to my shelf. :-)

LOL! I haven't seen that in years :-)
NOLF is my favorite video game ever. It was one of my first PC games, and one of my first FPSs (how do you pluralize FPS? :-/)... It is a really fun and hilarious 60's spy themed game.

Was getting my ass kicked by a level for a few hours, saw no possible way to clear it, checked around to see if maybe it was bugged, turned out I'd forgotten something, saw a video with the way to clear it, which means that at this point I did NOT clear it myself.

100 percent is impossible when I have to depend on something else telling me how to beat it.
Defeats the entire purpose.

And so, I need to depend on my consistently shitty memory turning this rage burst into nothing but hazy shit so I can go back, torture myself until I find the answer on my own, then beat the game.
