Okay, this is weird.
My controller's sticking, which should be slowing down my inputs. Everything feels slower in general - slower movement on-screen, slower hand movements, slower everything.
So how in the holy flying hell did I just clear a straight-up murder you silly if you're not going top speed level?
Am I just perceiving everything oddly at the moment?
Very weird.

Perhaps you just had too much coffee and are now in a faster universe while the game is still in the normal one ;-)My controller's sticking, which should be slowing down my inputs. Everything feels slower in general - slower movement on-screen, slower hand movements, slower everything.

CarrionCrow: -laughs- Maybe. It's just very strange. I've been slaughtered by that level trying it after sleeping, fully caffeinated, everything reflex-wise being as good as it's going to get. adaliabooks

Good morning/day/afternoon/evening/night everybody! *hugs and waves*
My wife's health seems to have improved a little, and things concerning the bullying of my daughter are in motion, the after school day care people have had some hard words with the offending boys (including the announcement that - if this happens again - the police will be involved) and also contacted their parents over this.
I'm still struggling to find something to help my daughter deal better with situations like this. The problem is that she is very reluctant getting help because she doesn't want to be a rat. And, although she is pretty fast and strong, she is very reluctant to use physical means in self-defence.

FearfulSymmetry: I don't know, if I'm fully caffeinated I get jumpy, and things tend to go wrong. ;) Good morning. =)
How's your day going?

Happy to hear the news regarding both your wife and the little shits who are bothering your daughter.
Fingers crossed that both situations continue to improve, and quickly.

Glad to hear things are improving. And yeah school life can be hard, I can understand that your daughter does not want to be a rat, since this would probably make things worse for her in school. I hope that the things you already did and set to motion will clear the situation!

It means you're starting the day from a favorable position. Nothing wrong with that.

Good morning, everyone!
I see you are all doing well today, which is always nice.
Boxing is also fun, providing you find the right people to train with. I did a bit of boxing in college, and recently I started a bit of kick boxing. I have a very good friend who is a professional kick boxer and she is always happy for me to train with her. We keep it all as fun, noting competitive. Failing that, I have a nice English Warhammer you could borrow. It has a billaxe, a hammer, and a spike. Perfect for teaching men some respect. :-)

I am glad to hear your wife is feeling a little better, and that things are in motion to stop your daughter's bullying. It might not be a suitable solution, but have you considered seeing if your daughter wanted to get into some form of martial arts? Not for violence or aggression towards others, but for fun. Of course, the training would help to defend herself if she needed it, but it can also be very enjoyable. Often it's the confidence that they get from it that helps the most.
