CarrionCrow: 2 more levels done. And then there were nine...

Still hate you, Meat Boy.
Laughing! You really do like to suffer, don't you, Crow. ;-)

I understand that feeling of never wanting to let a game defeat you - never give up, that's my motto.

Good morning / evening, I hope everyone reading this is well, and that Crow is wearing a wristguard. Ha!

Good morning. =)

Still not quite sure if I like to suffer, or if it just continues to happen. -laughs-

Some games, I don't really care about full completion. Others, I can't get out of my head until I do.

How are you doing today?

Yeah, I know that feeling. Some I have just uninstalled with a good sense of power after trying them for a short while; life is too short to play really bad games.

I'm hanging in there, looking forward to my walk, that always blows all the bad stuff away.

So GOG is going to announce something big today (Thursday), I wonder what it is? Or did they announce it already, and was it Grimrock? Even with a discount, Grimrock II is too pricey for me, I'll wait until the price comes down. Besides, I haven't played GI yet.

I see you were talking about Piers Solar - I missed that in the sale, so will wait for another promo. I bookmarked the link to those FAQ's you posted - thank you for that.
It sounds like a relaxing game - I was amused at what Endre said about suspending disbelief - that often happens to me in that kind of game, and I wonder why the people don't say something when you are rifling through their possessions, picking their locks etc. Mostly they just stand there looking busy. Games like that can sometimes be very annoying, but at least they're relaxing, and easy on the wrist. ;-)

Editing out a word that was just sitting around, doing nothing. No idea where it came from.

Hopefully the announcement will be, "Hey! We are finally going to stop breaking the damn website!"

That would be something, but I can't see it happening any time soon.

Good morning / evening Agent, glad to meet you.

Why is 'evening' the only word one can use to greet someone, even if it's the middle of the night over there? Good night is just another way of saying goodbye.
It's the same in many other languages, evening just hangs on and on and on...

Well, whatever, I hope you are having a good evening anyway. :-D

I'm
Not exactly sure, but it's not the Grimrock promotion that they're pushing.
Course, with GOG being GOG, they're not saying anything until it's almost happening or actually in progress.
One of the things I really dislike about the company as a whole - absolute crap communication a lot of the time.

Yes, you're right. JRPG's in particular just about always have absurd, ridiculous and/or completely insane occurrences in their worlds that pick away at any suspension of disbelief a player might possibly have when they start.

Good mevening. Glad to meet you as well.

I've always been a bit annoyed by that... I wish there were another way to say "good night" without meaning "good bye"... I guess I'll just keep making up my own words, like "mevening" :-D

Thanks. Hope you are having a good morning :-)

I agree with that wholeheartedly - unless you happen to be standing right next to them when they announce something like a giveaway, you'll miss it. Their emails take forever, and the front-page 'news' is not at all helpful. It was only when I discovered the forums quite by chance during the Insomnia promo that I realised this was a better place to get information and help.

I'm off, time to get moving. Hope you 'enjoy' your gaming, if that is the right word?

See you next time I'm online.

Enjoy...scream, curse and loathe...same difference.

Have a good day. =)
And then there were eight.

I need more coffee. And possibly a hammer.
Hahahahahaha!!! My inconsiderate asshole partying neighbors are finally being arrested for dealing drugs! :-D

Indeed.
Sucked to be me for about a year. We share a wall. They party loudly all day and night, and stink up the house with weed almost everyday. (I have no problem if people want to smoke weed... I just have a problem with my house constantly smelling like shit...)
Finally some peace, quiet, and fresh air :-)

Like you said. Assholes.

Hopefully they can be gone for a nice long while. =)
*good morning hugs and waves* Hope everyone is doing fine :-)
