EndreWhiteMane: Just a funny thing to say, "it's not like it's some game" when we were talking about games. :-)
Got it.

tinyE: I'm watching "Monsters and Mysteries In America".

How come only stupid people see Bigfoot?
Apparently inbreeding causes the part of a person's brain needed to see Bigfoot to activate.

We was out shootin' possum and drinkin' beer when we sawr the critter, An he were bigger'n my pickup truck.

ddickinson: Am I the only one who's games have not yet being unbundled? Not that I mind, I prefer them bundled together.

avatar
EndreWhiteMane: I see what you did there. :-)

ddickinson: :-)

CarrionCrow: I see at least one hellaciously bad game that you still don't have...
avatar
ddickinson: What game is that?

(And no ninja gifting. If you ever feel the urge for that, read the warning on my wiki page regarding gifting. :-))
First one that came to mind was Ultima 9. Took a second look and you don't have Magna Cum Laude, either.

Wanted to pass this to you before I forgot.
Next best thing to actually having a manual.

Very cool, thanks! :-)

While I admit there are probably good games I have overlooked, generally speaking what isn't on my shelf or wishlist is not there for a reason. Games like Magna Cum Laude will never find it's way on my shelf, even if it was a free game.
avatar
ddickinson: I hope so too. But three hours sleep is still a lot better than just one hours sleep. :-)

What controller is it? Have you had it long for it to already be breaking?
avatar
CarrionCrow: True. But if a difference of two hours is that substantial, just think of the possibilities if you could actually sleep 6 to 8 hours. Your body probably wouldn't know how to feel at that point.

It's a Microsoft X-Box for PC controller. Had barely used it until the start of the Meat Boy run.
Name brand controller for 40 is either used or not name brand.

Not a problem. Started digging when I had no frigging clue what things like the gather function did in fights.

Understandable. That one is supposed to be all kinds of bad.
Still have to get around to playing it.

They've got the same thing I bought at the local Walmart for 35 or so plus tax for 28 at Amazon.
Guess their price dropped over a few months time.

The frigging current gen controllers are extremely expensive. Those are the ones with the 50 to 60 dollar price range for a standard item. Absolutely ridiculous.
Just checked, X-Box One controllers are 52, PS 4 controllers are 55.

It just looks like it was made for some teenage boys. The originals had their own charm, but this one is just terrible.

Oh yeah, it's going to be really, really bad. I have no illusions whatsoever that it's going to be anything but total shit.
Still needs to be cleared, though.

But at least you are doing a service when you play these games. Your reviews might help save another poor soul from suffering the game. I know you destroyed (in a good way) any interest I had in Soulstorm, so there's one person who you have spared such terror. :-)

That's a happy side effect. Just really happy that I have a lot more good games than I do bad ones.
My list doesn't even have many bad items on it anymore. Other than Simon the Sorcerer 3D, Iron Storm and Kingdom: The Far Reaches, everything else is good.
I'm happy with a 50 to 1 ratio. -laughs-

Yeah my roommate went looking for a controller for dark souls two four months back and nothing was less than sixty unless you wanted low build quality GameStop garbage.

I did not mind Iron Storm. It's by no means an incredible game, but it was a fun little average FPS. What is it that you dislike about the game?

As for Simon the Sorcerer 3D, I could never bring myself to play it or buy it. The original game holds a very special nostalgic place in my heart, so I can't bring myself to play the horrible third game.
Little blob gonna get some sleep.
