EndreWhiteMane: I still think it's a lot of fun, but an 'immersive experience'? Uh, no. :-)
CarrionCrow: That's a phrase that if it ever had real meaning, it sure as hell doesn't now. It's been used to market things so much that it tends to be more of a joke.
I'm just saying random words here...
I think that an "immersive experience" is too often defined by graphics, sound, and the general atmosphere and setting of the game. Story, quests/objectives, and AI are often forgotten about, even though they are just as important to making a game immersive (in my opinion.)... So we end up with games that have a really "atmospheric and immersive" setting, but it is populated by a bunch of morons who are part of a nearly non-existent story and want you to find their fishing pole even though there is not a lake in the game.
That said... If I'm in a good mood, I can find just about -any- game to be immersive :-)
EndreWhiteMane: OK, that was a big yawn I just yawned.
Going to go back to bed at least till sunrise so my internal clock isn't completely confuseled.
Back in a while and thank you and Agent for the company. :-)
Hope your clock gets back to normal. Rest well. See you later :-)
CarrionCrow: And speaking of sleeping, think I'm going to try getting some sleep before dawn for once.
Goodnight, Endre. Goodnight, Agent. =)
Night, Crow. Hope you sleep well :-)
