Did I not accept some gifts recently? One from you, for example? I have nothing against accepting gifts that are offered, in fact I am most grateful for them, I appreciate them very much, perhaps because I don't get them often.

So I have shown I will not actively refuse a gift (unlike some ;-)), in fact, I don't recall ever refusing a gift. The fact that I don't have a public wishlist is not relevant in this argument. When I mentioned curiosity in some games and was gifted them, did I turn them down? Or did I graciously accept them with gratitude?

So, following your logic. "I only politely turn down gifts if:"
1. You already have them - obviously.
2. They are not DRM free - a.k.a. not from GOG.
3. Gifter actively refuses gifts - which I do not do.

So going by your argument, would you accept a gift from me? Or would you still refuse and make new rules as to the reason why you would turn it down? Will you stick to your three rules above?

I was including sales from November to this current Year-end sale too.

I agree that the back to back big sales together were like a wrapping of a mega holiday sale,
topped with a nifty bow of unexpected surprises that kept popping up...

Thinking in terms of a five-year plan. -laughs- Also, if the coin runs out, I'll at least have plenty to keep me occupied.

But I've already accepted a gift from you, remember? I accepted your gift for the KIng's Quest games. It's not my fault that my Secret Santa fulfilled my wish, thus it fell under rule #1. ;-D

And a small side note - rule #2 is not as strict as you make it appear.

Playful banter does not mean I was not thankful. I think you are just making up excuses :-). My comment about it being a mistake to enquire about the games does not change the fact that I do accept gifts, thus I do not come under rule 3.

What does that matter? You said so yourself that it's not a matter of get a gift, receive a gift. Just because I offered one gift should not mean I can't offer another. I guess we should just accept that for some reason you do not wish to receive gifts from me, even when I meet your 3 rules :-(.

You can synchronise the wishlist from your account to the wiki. The wiki allows you to share your wishlist publicly, while the wishlist in your account is private.

As D said, it's useful for posting a list publicly. Also, if you're weird like I am, it's another number to keep track of as it goes from larger to smaller and back again. -laughs-
Also also, the wiki list does allow for notes to be added rather than the wall of data that GOG provides. Helpful for prioritizing, organizing and what-not.

It's also handy for trying to figure out which games mysteriously vanished from your shelf. Something that happens a little too often.

Very true. Just got Dark Fall 2 back today, now that you mention it.

So did I, and luckily it removed the blank space from my shelf as well. Not that it was a big issue for me, I have a habit of backing up all my purchases. I like to actually own what I pay for and know that I will always have access to them.

Again, never been much of a wiki user though. Also my wish list has been rather static the past year or so. Only changing during sales if i see some of the games on it on sale for a good price.

This is the best argument for using the wiki i've seen. I admit that would be useful to have.

Yes, same here. Not in the habit of leaving items on the shelf, just in case. GOG goes sideways, internet goes down, all items are still available.

Yes, so do i. Still annoying i can't download my recent games because of PC problems. Hopefully it will be fixed soon so i can get them downloaded.
