Hey, gunny. Yeah, I'm planning on one a week, or maybe even daily...

No, I think the current one'll be the new me for some time. Unless people would like to see that dreamy-eyed twit with wings for ears again, of course.

Hey there, zombie bard. Good evening. =)

Hopefully the day to day crap isn't being too shitty for you.

Hey there, Stilty! Always good to see you :-)
Going well for me. Thanks.
'Sup? I got back from work and I'm gonna play my games now.
Any news on Galaxy? I'm dying to try it out.

Hey, Crow. Its an accumulation of minor stuff, the usual story when days begin to turn to crap early on and keep right on going. A few decades ago, when my body worked properly and people gave a damn (at least I thought they did) I still got pissed off on a fairly regular basis. I'm just getting pissed off with different stuff these days, which keeps it interesting -laughs-

It's still in alpha. Signed up to be a part of that, but have no idea when I'll get whatever's needed to load it up.

Pick your poison - continual anger or hopeless-fueled apathy. Fun times either way.

Fingers crossed and a wish for better days to come for you and yours.

ddickinson: Good morning, everyone!

Did I miss much this last week? I see there was an insomnia sale? Oh well, I guess I will have to wait until next time to put on my ninja costume and start gifting mercilessly. Seriously, how could I miss such an opportunity to throw gifts at everyone, especially those of you in this thread (and with no public wishlist, I'm free from any return gifting :-)). How could I let you have all the fun and how could I let trentonlf go about unsupervised. Who knows the gifting destruction he has left in his wake.

Sadly it has not been a good week or so for me. My baby niece died, my mother had a bad fall and has broken some bones (she is now unable to walk and in a wheelchair while she heals), my partner's flu got worse and I had to take her to hospital as she was having difficulty breathing and she was in there for several days before it got good enough for her to come home, and I have had so much to do at work (due to my brother taking time off after losing his baby). So it's been a very draining and upsetting week for me :-(. Well that just about explains my absence from the forum, just in case anyone was wondering where I was.

Thank you for all the kind messages while I was away, you all are really so very wonderful. Perhaps it's due to me being in an emotional state recently, but seeing all the messages from people on this thread and else where on the forum brought a tear to my eye and put a nice big smile on my face. So thank you for that.

P.S. Sorry if I am a bit off for a while, my head is all over the place what with all that has been going on and the lack of sleep.

P.P.S. Did anyone else notice that this thread is now listed in the "Hot Topics" section?
*Big hug* I haven't been on here since the sale and didn't see your PM for some reason until now, and am sending a PM in reply.I'm so sorry to know what you've been through, will say more in the PM:(

AgentBirdnest: Hey there, Stilty! Always good to see you :-)
Going well for me. Thanks.
Salute, Agent. Glad you're good ;-) What have you been playing lately? I've been going around in circles with a couple of racing games, which seem to be my default for putting myself in a good place when I need to. A combination of engine roar and knocking people out of my way (offline, of course - unless I'm online and they deserve it) has an endearingly therapeutic affect.

Thanks ;-) It'll pass. Some gaming usually sorts me out.

You mean we are supposed to "play" these things? Huh... :-/

Seriously... Lumino City has been fun. Skobond is making my brain hurt. And I am currently addicted to FTL (again...)
I haven't needed it lately, but my favorite therapeutic game is Mirror's Edge. I love "the flow" ... Nothing feels better to me than executing a perfect run.

Likewise. Have actually been beating some games rather than just hoarding them.
And when that gets annoying, I've been watching Archer on Netflix.

I can second that about Sokobond... first few levels were ok but now I'm completely stumped on most of them :/
So I'm slowly but surely beating LoX instead so I can play some new games soon...

I'll add a third to the "Sokobond is kicking my ass" chant.
It's definitely enjoyable, but also hard as goddamn nails after a while.
Just signed up for the alpha. Hope I get chosen.
Also,do you play Sword of the Stars:The Pit? Nice roguelike.

Own it, have all the frigging expansion crap for it, but haven't really gotten into playing it yet.
