Good afternoon, Owl!

How are you today? I hope you are doing well and are having a nice day at work?

AgentBirdnest: Good day, Hyper.
Doing well here. I hope you're doing alright.
Always good to hear you're doing well, hopefully it gets even better.

ddickinson: Another scary game to play with your kids. :-)
Right! Although FEAR isn't that scary... When I think of some levels of Thief on the other hand... Or System Shock 2...

avatar
ddickinson: How is your wife doing? Any improvement? I hope you are coping okay? I know all too well how hard it can be on someone when a loved one is not very well. *big supportive hug*
Thanks for the hug! She not really better, but still goes to work. I hope she doesn't walk away with some permanent damage from this. It's a real risk in her line of work.

Hello, DD !
(I don't feel "great", to be honest... but, well :-\ ... I try not to think too much about it... *head in the sand*.)
How are you doing ?

toxicTom: Right! Although FEAR isn't that scary... When I think of some levels of Thief on the other hand... Or System Shock 2...
How about Outlast? :-)

Me and my partner are playing Outlast this weekend, hopefully it is nice and scary.

I am so sorry to hear she is not feeling any better. Does she have any medication to help?

Hello, Owl!

Sorry to hear you are not feeling great today. I know how you feel, it's not been a good day for me either.

What seems to be causing you to not feel great today (feel free not to answer if it's something private)? I hope it is nothing serious and that you will feel like your usual awesome self.

*biggest hug*

I'm curious.

Any folks in here Irish or have any Irish blood in them? Does it piss you off that people who couldn't find Ireland on a map all get together this time of year and act like they founded the fucking country? :P

I myself am an American of Dutch and German ancestry so out of courtesy and respect I steer clear of hijacking someone elses' culture for the sake of a holiday. :D

ddickinson: Good morning, Agent!

It is indeed nice to see F.E.A.R. 2 here, another one of the DRM games fallen to the power of DRM-Free army :-). I will have to have another look at the game more closely before I think of picking it up, but for now I will just make note of it.

How are you feeling today?
It is quite different from the first game. It felt like a distant cousin. It feels more like a spinoff designed for consoles (which is actually mostly true...) Still, even though it was very different from the first, I thought it was a good action game.

I'm doing okay. Feeling pretty well. A bit tired, but I can't complain...

Thanks. glad to hear you are ok too.
Linner... Would that be in-between lunch and dinner?

I have in my library, but have not managed to check it out yet. The backlog curse ;-) I see there's DLC too that I'm still missing.

She's gargling with sage, and drinking sage, tyme and peppermint tea. Eating (high quality biological) honey too. I'm gonna go hunt for some tea tree oil this afternoon. I think she has some "traditional western" ;-) medicine too. But she's been on antibiotics for weeks now and it didn't really help anything, just destroyed her digestion...

I'm all for hijacking any holiday on Earth. Alien possibly too, depending if the rites are physically accomplishable as a human :-)
DD-senpai! I was able to get some sleep and I'm feeling a lot better today.

I have been ninja gifted!
This time by Agent, the super ninja, who gifted me F.E.A.R.
Thank you very much! :-)

I'm doing OK today and glad everyone else is at least OK too.
Has anyone heard from Moon yet? :(

I seem to remember the game not quite living up to the original, in story or in gameplay.

I am glad you are feeling well today, that's always nice to hear.

I hope one of those things manages to help and make her feel better. It must be so hard for her working while ill, especially with the kind of work she does. Is the sage and the other things helping?

I think the herbs and honey at least keep things from deteriorating further. I'm going to do a short office day (I'm off in a few minutes) and try to help my wife more with the kids. I'll be trying to get a little more work done tonight when the kids are in bed.

See you later all :-)
