You're gonna need a lot of laser pointers... and catnip. Or carry crates, and depending on the number of hours involved, and the age of the cats, you can get them knocked out via a vet. Or so I've been told.

Well even before that, over-seas travel with pets, you'll need to check on customs control. Some pets wont be allowed without vaccination. You can also check local forums, like on reddit, yahoo, or other places, asking information from pet owners in regards to problems they've had, or dangerous critter problems to be aware of.

I've lost a pet to old age, and its heart wrenching. Wanting the best for your animals is always great. But sometimes, you have to ask if whats holding you back, is you don't want to say good bye. Think, if there is anyone else around that could take her? Talk to a vet about her chances, sometimes consultations are free (ask beforehand).
