ddickinson: That makes sense. Sadly I have to get back to work, so I will miss all the fun. I hope you see a few games that interest you in the sale.

GhostwriterDoF: It's here! whist you are still here too :P
If you have it already you can get a gift copy so I'm sure there will be plenty to go around. :-)
Already have the freebie, but that's nice that others can get it :-)

Staff picks are nice. (I'm pretty sure we saw this exact bundle in the Winter Sale 3 months ago...)

This is one that I didn't have already, and might not have gotten.

I've missed a few of the GoG freebies, Like the Fallouts and Torchlight because I had already bought them,
or wasn't interested in them.

But I have also gotten some nice gifts from GoG, including the original Dungeon Keeper
and Temple of Elemental Evil... and now Rise of the Triad 2013. heh

I just got mine in the form of a gift code even though I didn't own it.
You can give it away if you want to. ;)

Correction: The game got added to my library AND I got a gift code! :-)

Can anyone recommend a keyboard? On that note do I need anyone to recommend one or is this one of those things where distributors like to add a lot of flash to something, call it 'Ultra', and charge you 50 times what it's worth?

I just lost the function of my 'e' key and while I got it back, turned out to be something stuck under it, I'm a little worried now. If this one dies I'm out of luck.

Yep, I experienced that too. Not sure if the giftcode will really work, but I'll hang onto it to see if I can give it to someone who missed it.

I'm using a Logitech K120 that I got for $12. Works great, haven't had a problem in 3 years.
I've never tried expensive ones, because I don't really see a point (for myself at least.) This has everything I need, the keys are quiet enough, and except for WSAD, none of the letters have faded.

my thumb rule has been: with mice and keyboard you can't go too wrong with a cheap logitech :)
Check out the cheapest, the go up a step or two...

Yeah I love the Logitech though I did switch over to a Death Adder mouse a couple of years ago. There are some very nice Logitech keyboards in the $25-$30 I'm looking at.

I've always sworn by the low end Logitechs for mice and kybd. haven't let me down yet.
This one is 8 years old, gets abused and still works perfectly.

Edit: Damn, we all agree on something. :-)

I recently ordered one of these Microsoft mouse and keyboard combo for my old Vista Laptop...

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-desktop-400-for-business-usb-keyboard-and-optical-mouse/1305564723.p?id=mp1305564723&skuId=1305564723

I had a couple other keyboards, both have buttons on the side that I accidently hit when handling the keyboard, which inadvertently put my PC to sleep. :/

This MS combo is fairly inexpensive ($23) but it has a nice ergonomic feel, light touch keys and is decent quality, which should be able to take a gamer's beating for a few years without issues. And the price is good for a combo. Hope that helps. :)

I might splurge here. The Logitech G 105 runs $40 but it has back lighting so I can find the WASD keys in the middle of the night! :P

Thanks everyone; I'd be lost without this place.

I've had less luck with their low-end mice. My last two or three have had buttons that stop working, or work too much...
They each lasted about 5 years though, and were only $10. Not bad.
