EndreWhiteMane: Morning Agent! You'd have to know it was the platinum edition first, and you're right, MAX is another.
avatar
AgentBirdnest: True...
Did you just try to call me? I just got a call from Cedar Rapids a few minutes ago :-/
Wasn't me. :-)
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Wasn't me. :-)
Do you have anything fun planned for today, other than sorting your hard drives and making prank calls to pass the time? :-)
Hey everyone, how are you all doing?

Getting more tomato and pepper seeds started if I have the time.

Good day!

How are you today? Have you had a nice day so far?

That sounds nice. What kind of peppers are you growing?
Hi DD, and all! *hugs and waves*

avatar
ddickinson: How are you today? I hope work is going okay?
F...ing tired again. But I'm used to it. :-)

Got a few tough nuts to crack right now and Friday will be a release day, fortunately not for the project stage I'm currently working on. This still has a few months.
In so far, I'm not perfect, but well enough. Wanted to do sports tonight, but my friends can't go before 9 pm (one of them has to work late) and I wouldn't be home before 10:30. And with all the lack of sleep I'd rather go to bed early.

Unfortunately my wife is not well. She started to sound really horrible on the weekend and from yesterday afternoon on she had to resort to sign language. I slept on the couch in the living room last night because she was coughing badly half of the night.
She still went to work (caring for 18 children!), I guess in hopes they would rethink their decision not to extend her contract.

Hey! :D Yeah, I'm doing fine. I've done some travelling today and I worked on some projects for university, but I'm taking a break now. I was super lucky and won the Book of Unwritten Tales 2 in a giveaway this weekend, so I've been playing that for a bit yesterday, and I may pick it up again today.

I am so very sorry to hear your wife is not well. I hope it is nothing too serious? They would be idiots to still end her contract after such devotion. Fingers crossed that when the time comes they realise what a good employee they have and will decide to renew her contact again.

*big comforting hug*

I hope they turn out well. I still have two big greenhouses to finish on the farm. We put them on hold what with my niece dying. Once things are more settles we will finish them off. Luckily the weather is a lot nicer now so it won't be too hard.

That sounds nice, and congratulations on winning the game! What do you think of it so far? I have not played the first games yet, and the second game is a little too highly priced for me when it comes to point-and-click games. But I hope you enjoy your prize.

Many thanks. We hope it's not inflamed larynx or vocal chords - an occupational disease that can be end of a career as kindergartner :-/

I really am so sorry to hear that and I hope that it will turn out to be something less terrible and that your wife will start to recover soon. I bet she is glad to have you with her to help look after her.

Wish I could do more. Right now she is stuck with the kids (little one's favorite word currently: "NO!"). I will take off here in half an hour, but I will need at least one hour to get home, still have to shop a few food related things, and when I will be home the kids should be almost ready to go to bed... And then I have to work maybe another 1-2 hours because helping my wife out this morning cost me about 2 hours time that were not planned - I was very late for work.

Damn, I'm whining again. Sorry. It's just that I'm desperately trying to come to a better solution for a schedule that would suit all people, my wife, my boss, the kids and me.

I'm quite enjoying it so far! The first game was rather funny because it had lots of amusing references to popular culture. The second one is much like that, and it looks even nicer than the first game did. Some of the environments are simply stunning. And yes, if I hadn't won it I'd have waited a while to grab it as well, since it is pretty expensive now.

*lays head on shoulder* Can I stay here for a while? I'm tired and I haven't sleept well for some time.

Here you go Agent, a little info about the staff promo. It happens in about 20 minutes, and apparently you will want to be there on time.

I know how you feel about wanting to do more. All we can do is be there for them and offer what ever help we can. And don't ever feel the need to be sorry about talking about such things, it's not whining. This thread is a lovely place to talk to nice people, and my PM is always open should you need to talk.
