Agent... I read you weren't feeling good a couples of hours ago, I hope it's better now...
I hate talking in phones too :-| and love the Simpsons and Futurama shows ! :) I still watch them regularly.
Still one day for resting, and I will have to go back to work, sigh. Already. This week went by so fast. Like all hollidays I presume ! :)
Luckily I won't work next Friday... and I guess I won't be ill this time !! (fingers crossed) :D
Does someone have news from Stillton, our Viking master ? :-( It's been ages since I last read him...

Okay....don't remember falling asleep....couldn't remember where I left my glasses....hell, even laying down is a bit on the hazy side quite honestly....and now I'm awake again. And it's 10 o' clock at night.
Sleep patterns? What are those? -laughs-

If I don't take my glasses off, put them in my glasses case, and put that in its normal place by the bed, I can never find them when I wake up. I have honestly called in late to work because I couldn't find them.

Also, is this where I horrify you by telling you that I played through the-pigeon-game-which-shall-not-be-named twice today and laughed myself silly both times? *g*

It took a few minutes before I could remember exactly where I put them. Course, if a cat had decided to run off with them, I'd probably still be tearing the bedroom apart looking.

As for the pigeon thing?
Well, I'll put it to you like this - I've spoken with you more than once and you haven't ever put out some kind of creepy "oh man, what a glorious world it would be if I truly COULD have a beautiful relationship with a frigging talking bird" vibe.
Given that, you getting some laughs out of it is a good thing. I hope people aren't like me, actively seeking out things that have a solid 90 to 95 percent chance of causing contemptuous nausea and borderline homicidal frenzy. -laughs-

Oh, the cats. *sigh* The cats. Let me put it this way: When I finally had the earpieces replaced on my glasses about a year ago, it was because they were both missing the little comfort-bump-thingy at the ends and had teeth marks all over them. As near I've ever been able to figure out, the times I had to call in late due to missing glasses were actually due to missing-glasses-due-to-felines.

And... yeah, no. I've been giggling my way through it because it is so totally a satirical game and there've been a number of jokes that've had me giggling out loud. I suspect I'll try to pick up all the endings, just to see them, and to figure out the setting. It keeps hinting at post-apocalyptic stuff and I'm curious. I'm a sucker for world-building, so... yeah. Even in a game like this one. LOL

Sounds like they definitely decided to use your glasses as playtoys. Cuddly little buggers.

I really hope there's something decent underneath everything that made me want to throw up in those first ten minutes. Otherwise that is going to be one hell of a long sit....

Got up one morning,went out to the garage to do something or other.Turned on the light because it's a bit dark and looking around to do something, said Dumf*** I'm not wearing glasses.Went back inside to find them,couldn't find them..................Said to my wife have you seen my glasses?
She said laughing her head off, Your wearing them you Idiot....
Unfortunately a true story...

-laughs- That tells me that you've been wearing them for a long time and are used to having them on 24/7.
Also, don't feel too badly. I could totally see myself doing that if it wasn't for the combo of massive headache and being blind as a godsdamned bat that comes without wearing mine.

Only once? That's not bad. Used to fall asleep with mine on all the time, to the point that I'm surprised they didn't get broken.

Great story :D That could never happen to me, I am almost blind without glasses so I know if I have them on or not. But in the last few years I changed to contact lens so only a short time with glasses in the morning and the evening :D
