genkicolleen: That is wonderful to see, thanks for letting us know~!
Hello, genki! *big hug*

How are you feeling? I hope you are feeling better than you were earlier? If not, is there anything we can to to help, maybe just lots more virtual hugs?

ddickinson: I distorted nothing, I stated the truth. I think you are just mad because I uncovered your hidden gifting addiction. I think it's only fair now that you start accepting gifts. :-)

Stated the truth? Ok, then, let's be a bit more precise with the truth then, shall we?
- Were both games ninja gifts?
- Did you not almost immediately try to "pay me back" for the first one?
- Have I not actually indirectly received one more game from you than you have from me?

I'm sure you'll find all the answers in your PM box and Gift tab. ;-)

I've never denied that I enjoy gifting others more than receiving gifts; can't see how that paints me in worse colours than you. :-)
But yes, you caught me, and I'm really sooo mad right now! ;-P

Well I had to find something for us to fight about now that Fist Puncher is finally gone. :-)

It was only on a whim that I made a note of our gifting (that was not the reason I was checking my PMs), but it was a nice surprise to find out that you were the one with the real problem accepting gifts while at the same time gifting overs. :-)

I would say everyone here in this thread suffers from a serious gifting addiction, so what are you squabbling about? ;-)

It's the great illness of GOG. People come here expecting to buy some games, but as soon as they enter the forum they are infected and become mindless gifting addicts. No one is safe, it may take longer to take effect on some, but in the end all with fall the the great gifting plague. :-)

ddickinson: Have you had any luck picking a new game to play?
avatar
moonshineshadow: Not really. I played five minutes of Anvil of Dawn but got annoyed by the graphics. And realised that nostalgics can make games so much better.
I didn't see this before, I used the graphics mode setup utility that comes with the game. I set graphics to OpenGL, made things look a LOT better.

Thanks I'll try that tomorrow.

How are you feeling today? Is the medication starting to help, or do I need to come over and give you a big hug until you are feeling better?

It seems to be helping, I just need to get used to the sleepiness it causes.
You can come over with hugs anyway. ;)

I see how it is. You could have lied and had some hugs, but rather than have me come give you some hugs you just had to say the medication seemed to be helping. Well that's the last time I offer to come visit for some hugs. :-)

I am really glad to hear they seem to be helping. The sleepiness can't be nice, but hopefully that will get a little better over time.

*big happy hug*

So, refusing to check your facts, eh? Sounds like you're in denial. :-)

We could always try to not fight over anything for a while - I know, shocking! But I fear it might cause withdrawal to you, and I'd hate to see that happen. ;-P

Not fight!? But what else would we have to talk about. :-)

I had either forgotten, or I had never heard of the Saturnalia plague. So thank you for that, I always enjoy reading some interesting history.
Calling it a night, peeps. Have fun, see you later.
