ddickinson: How are you deciding to remove games form your wishlist? When I did mine I added every game that caught my eye and then went through them all and decided if I would realistically play them enough to justify buying them.
avatar
moonshineshadow: Normally if new games arrive I put them on the wishlist if they sound interesting. And once in a while like now I go over the list, read the descriptions again and watch the videos to decide if they really are of interest or if they just would end up at the end of my backlog collecting dust :D

CarrionCrow: Also, learned that army ants really suck. Got bitten by one and there's a silver dollar's size spot of fiery pain in my left wrist where the bastard got me.
But, at least I noticed the scorpion and black widow, otherwise I'd be waving to you all in spirit from the emergency room. -laughs-

moonshineshadow: Sounds scary *big hug*
Living in a desert kinda sucks. It's okay, though. Just glad I'm done. -air hugs so you don't end up with tire gunk on your clothes-

ddickinson: From what you said to Moon, it sounds like they want to use you as a full size make up doll for them to play stylists on. :-)

CarrionCrow: Hey, everyone. =)

Back again, I think. Seriously hoping I don't need to get up and do more crap at the moment, because I am seriously tired.

Definitely got my exercise for the day. Just got through lugging a couple dozen giant, sand-filled tires around so someone can try to make a target range out of them.

ddickinson: Hello, Crow! *big hug*

Sorry to hear that you have had such a taxing day, and that you have been bitten. I hope you can now just relax and enjoy what is left of your evening.
Hey there. =)

It's okay. In a weird way, it's good to be reminded that I haven't been sitting at a computer so much that I'm basically a 90 pound weakling in a 350 pound body.
Tires falling off the trailer so we had to go back and lift the heavy buggers repeatedly wasn't much fun, though.

Geez, and you think my nail gun encounters were bad. Hard for city folk to remember this country still has it's hazards other than muggers. :-)

I still think it's a shame that some games are still missing the German language version, especially games that were made in Germany. Hopefully now that GOG has a German language site they can keep getting additional German language packs for the games.

I hope so too. It would be nice. Looking at my wishlist, I think I'll also kick Memoria, can't see myself buying that anytime soon.

But just think of all those extra muscles you are building up. Perfect to help with your PC game reflexes. :-)

I am glad to hear you are okay today. Hopefully the rest of your weekend will be less strenuous and you can just enjoy some games.

-laughs- Nail gun mishaps and muggers are still pretty frigging bad.

The crap around here depends on surprise 99.9 percent of the time, and a few close calls with something poisonous will remind you permanently to never stick your hands somewhere cool and dark unless you're keen on the idea of the aforementioned ER trip.

I think I might have a spare key for Memoria lying around somewhere. You would be more than welcome to it if you would like it.

I've spent plenty of time hiking around snakes, arms up, boots on. ;)

I think you could find a better home for it. I am not sure I could properly enjoy it since that was the game that finally broke my believe in Daedalic. And since it does not have the german language pack it would need to go on the list of adventures I can not play with my mum.

That's understandable. I kind of suspected as much, what with what you told me before about Daedalic, but I thought I would still offer the key. If you should ever change your mind, and if I still have the key, then you will always be welcome to have it.

Edit: *Watches Moon's wishlist getting smaller and smaller, wondering how many will be left after the great culling of games* :-)

Nah don't worry, I finished going over the list :D And there are even some games left which are not just for backup purpose :P

You'd be fine out here.
I think I've seen one snake in the whole time I've lived here, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't poisonous.

Course, I'm not exactly a hiker, so maybe they're all hanging out in the dust somewhere.
The mountains are picturesque and all, but dear gods there's a lot of crappy sand and weeds between here and there. -laughs-
I think I live in one of the few parts of the world that doesn't have a single poisonous animal.
