CarrionCrow: Any projection from the doctor on how long it'll take for your body to get used to the new meds, so you can have calmed nerves without perpetual naptime?
Probably a week or so, have to see. I can skip doses when I want to, that's a good thing and different from my other meds.
avatar
CarrionCrow: -laughs- That's funny. Sounds like you've got two video game lovers already. =)

Course, that won't help much for when you're trying to get a personal break...

Sounds like you've got your hands full trying to cover everything. Is your wife getting nailed by another one of the horrendously bad flu-type strains?
avatar
toxicTom: Regarding the kids: Yeah, they're infected. :-) The little one is too young to really play (though she tried Race the Sun). The big one - she loves to play The Incredible Machine, although she has some difficulty with the lasers and other electrical stuff.

My wife already had been sick for two weeks in February. I hope it's not again something serious.
Same here, hope she gets better very quickly this time. :/

A perk of it being an "as needed" type. You don't have to deal with forced mini-comas during adjustment, thankfully.

What's on the menu for this afternoon? Anything in your stockpile standing out?

I was thinking of trying out Neo Scavenger with some Toonstruck breaks in between dying a lot. :-)

-laughs- That sounds like a fun combo. It's the post-apocalypse, only wacky!

Actually, that'd be a really good setting, if a company would actually commit to it.

Additional - Errands are stacking up here, gotta go wipe them out. Have fun, take it easy, back in a bit. =)

Good evening. =)

Glad to hear that things are looking up money-wise.
Can't feed a high-end GOG addiction without money, after all. ;)

Doing okay here, just got back from running around doing errands.
Lots of people out with the weather being warm, always makes such excursions a joy...

But on the bright side, the local library has finally reopened after months of remodeling. Now I can establish a book backlog to go with my video and game ones. -laughs-

Thanks, not quite in the clear yet, but the prospect that at some point we will be is nice.
Spare cash for GoG games is also good ;)

Spending time with the great unwashed is always a joy..

Lol, I don't have much of a backlog at the moment due to not buying new books. I'm not reading a huge amount so buying a load of books would be silly... then again I'm not playing a lot of games but that hasn't stopped me purchasing more of those... XD

I mainly just reread stuff at the moment. At least that way I know it will be good ;)

Hello, lurker! *big return hug*

Have you had a nice day? Did you get all your cleaning done?
*hug* DD-sama!
The con was awesome! I've played SNES,NES,PS2,NeoGeo,Famicom,N64 and Atari 2600 then I bought Monster Hunter 4.
And I even danced in a Just Dance contest.

Day was ok, a bit boring. And no not done yet, I normally split it between Saturday and Sunday since it is not something I really have fun doing and it takes some time to do all the stuff alone with an apartment intended for two persons. But during the week after work I am just not motivated, so I have to do it on the weekends. I want cleaning robots :D

Here is a cute little cleaning robot to help you with your work. :-)
