CarrionCrow: This might be the time to start seriously considering moving. It's just one mess after another, and it's getting worse.

Not much, typically. Worrying a bit about a potential 5 month summer at this point.

Doubting that you'd be big on giving up your job, your home and your entire sense of stability for a place that's an hour away from anything that could be considered an actual city, and a city that's still a fraction of what you're used to now.

I still don't get it... they shot at me. with a gun.

I'm sorry, I really don't understand. Make fun of me (absent minded Prof), hate me (Australia), but shoot at me? I don't get it.

Comforting bullshit or honest answer?
I'm home, and I'm never ever leaving again.

I'm so sorry for being a drama queen - I really didn't mean to.

I'm not being arrested for yelling (came close, but my lawyer is on the City Counsel). He and is wife hate (like I'm an Aussie) me

And yes, I'm gonna freak the fuck out - my neighbors just shot at me. 3 times.
I... no...

I... I...

I don't have words.

Advice - put a game on, or a movie, something to calm your brain down.

Holly cow! What's wrong with people these days? Why on earth did they shoot at you?

Drama queen?! Please, I think you're handling this pretty amazingly!
Well...got very quiet in here.

Screw it, back to trying to kill the platformer that will not die.
Crow,have you rang Inny?
Dear lord, please let me get more than three hours of sleep tonight and not kill my father-in-law's roommate.

By this, I mean the woman whom I can hear talking, through two sets of walls/closed doors, over the top of the music that I have, for once, left playing (at a decently low volume - if I had it loud enough to hide her voice, no one else would be sleeping), as well as the audiobook that I am listening to *with headphones*. In less than an hour since she bothered to come home, she's slammed three doors and wandered through the house - talking the whole time - twice. It will be a very slow night if her phone doesn't ring (loudly enough for the whole house to hear) in the next hour or two.

Keep in mind, I live in California. It's a quarter to two in the morning.

There are Reasons I have been cranky lately and staying in our bedroom all day, is all I'm saying.

(Oh, hey. Her phone just rang. Shock.)
