My mother was coping okay (not great, but okay) for the most part. She has only recently come out of intensive care where she had nearly died just after Christmas. She also had a nasty fall down some stairs and broke some bones, which is not helping. But sadly a few weeks ago my little baby niece died, which has put a lot more strain on us all, and she is just finding it so hard to cope.
I am so sorry. My Gran broke her hip, refuses to move out of NYC, so Dad has to spend his retirement (and my inheritance) traveling back and forth from OK to NYC.
I would kill to help, but Gran doesn't know me, so I'm not allowed in NYC (although I lived there for 8 years).

I'm doing the next best thing... going there anyway. I'm a bitch that way.

I had a very nice evening, thank you. I went indoor ice skating, then had dinner at a nice restaurant, so my evening has been fun. Now I am just relaxing and sorting my wishlist, checking the games I added and removing those I don't want after closer inspection.

I had not been ice skating for some time, so I fell on my butt a few times. But after a while I got back into it all and was doing quite well. It has been an awesome evening, but most evening are when I spend it with my partner, even when we are just relaxing at home.

As for the wishlist, I have it down from over 50 games to about 13 now. :-)

Indeed. She is the best we have. I am excited to learn some things from her.

I'm feeling good. The medication helped. I haven't felt any withdrawal symptoms since.
