innocuous77: I'm so sorry... I know that heartbreak. It will kill me when I have to make that decision. But at least Pip is ok and happy (my toes, on the other hand...)
ddickinson: And at least you have given him a loving home, have done what you could to help him and take care of him, and given him all the toes he needs to nibble on :-). It doesn't help when the time comes, but knowing the pet was loved and that the pet loved you back is always a comforting thought.
Good thing I have 10 toes (ok, I might have 8 unnibbled left). I'm lucky enough to have the next week off of work (spring break!), so I can spend time with him. It might be all I have left.
In the mean time, I'm apparently sitting wrong, so I should shift and make myself a more comfy cat-couch:)
