HypersomniacLive: Being a caring and considerate gentleman does not make one a fool though. ;-D

Besides, having interacted with you for a while now, I'd never believe it coming from you. (~_^)
I guess you are right. I could have always said that I would share my wishlist with everyone if you accepted a gift. I am sure they would hound you to accept, lord knows they love hounding me about it. :-)

Hello there.

Quick question - have I done something to you? ↁ_ↁ

I'll give you the dame advice I did in the mafia game - look inwards. ;-)

EndreWhiteMane: One of the bosses tried a "Helpless Maiden" routine. I almost hurt myself laughing. Then she hit me. :-)
avatar
ddickinson: I guess she was not doing it right. :-)

I have seen a few women do it, and it's not something I like. Definitely not for me, but I guess we are all different. It's almost as annoying as guys who try to pull the vulnerable man card to get their own way - their own way usually being to get the girl.

How are you feeling now? Are you feeling a little better than earlier, or just about the same?

Edit: Wishlist down to less than 25 games now. I wonder if I will have any games left on the list by the time I am finished. :-)
Honey, is that you?

Chalk up one more woman in the 'not liking' department. But I will admit that I like a nice Princess dress... I don't have to shave my legs:)
You are not the only one that I've slimmed -_-
That kinda came out wrong...

EndreWhiteMane: They are both in their 70s so please, no costume. I help them quite a lot but we work as equals, each to their own strengths, weaknesses and knowledge. That's the way I prefer to work with anyone. 'With' and not 'for'. :-)
Come now, age is no issue. I think you are just a bit sad that your charms are lost on them. :-)

I know what you mean abut working with rather than for. Luckily with the kind of work I am in I don't have to deal with the whole work for someone kind of attitude. Although my family all knows who the real boss is, and despite what my farther thinks it's definitely not him. :-)
avatar
ddickinson: So that's why you never wanted to take them home to your basement, it would be a waste of time trying to seduce them. :-)

I am not quite sure I am a die hard 'I can do it myself thank you' kind of person, I have no problem with a guy helping me or anything like that, just as long as it's not condescending. It would be futile going form a 'I can do it myself thank you' type person to a "Helpless Maiden" person and expecting it to work. At least not without wearing a nurse, cheerleader, or nun costume. :-)

Need a 50 year old intern? I'd love to work for them.

I did a 3 year stint working for "the Gay guy" who thought people hated him because he was gay. No, he was an ass. We hated him because he was an ass.

I am not sure I should follow your advice. If I remember correctly, you died. Where as this lucky lady survived to the end (and I do mean lucky :-)).

Hello!

How are things with you and your dear cat? I hope he is still doing okay?

He's still with me... shitting on the bathmat. We had a vet visit, where he had the $400 kitty version of dialysis. He's eating and drinking water(!) and nibbling on my toes. He's not in pain, which is all I will ever ask. I may have a couple of months with him, which is the best money I ever spent.

I am glad to hear that. I know what you mean about money well spent. I had a border collie who had cancer and the money it cost for treatment was worth every penny. It bought him another year or so, but sadly the cancer became too bad and I would not keep him alive to suffer just so that I could still have him with me, so I ended up having to get him put to sleep to stop him suffering, which broke my heart.

I hope things go well for you and your cat and you that you have a long time still with him.

I'm so sorry... I know that heartbreak. It will kill me when I have to make that decision. But at least Pip is ok and happy (my toes, on the other hand...)

And at least you have given him a loving home, have done what you could to help him and take care of him, and given him all the toes he needs to nibble on :-). It doesn't help when the time comes, but knowing the pet was loved and that the pet loved you back is always a comforting thought.
Hey everyone.

The ninja gifter strikes again, our very generous little owl struck me too :)

More +1s for her please :)

My trigger finger's gettin' tired. :-)
Whatcha get?

Owl, did you just inherit a fortune or something? :-)

Possibly true, but I have this vivid image now of being covered in slime, and I so don't appreciate it. How about we stick to waves? From a safe distance? ;-)

I very clearly recall that I didn't just die on my own, you did everything you could to get me lynched. But putting all this aside, you said it yourself - you were lucky, and you can't survive on luck alone for long. ;-P

But you're just being evasive now, and playing innocent; you know exactly what I mean. ;-)

@innocuous77

Hope all of Pip's days are pain-free.

Seems likely, or maybe she just learned the secret ninja technique of many-gifts-no-jutsu. With which she got me too.

We should counter her ninja antics with some PIRATE gifting of our own! Yaaar!
