The number of people who expressed their wish to gift me a game is one of the reasons I don't have a public wishlist. I don't want them gifting me games when they can use that money to get games for themselves or for others. I am worried that if I put my list up I will get buried with ninja gifts, which would make me feel as though I were abusing peoples generosity by posting my wishlist. I know, I have a crazy messed up gifting mind. :-)

j0ekerr: I have never heard of any wolf attacks on people since they started being reintroduced after they were almost exterminated. I have heard, very rarely, mind you, stories of them attacking cattle which are followed inevitably by farmers demanding culls. But they complain a lot more about UE quotas and would much rather cull Brussels if given a choice.

Of course, our wolves are smaller and more timid. I have no idea how a much larger arctic wolf would behave. But then again, the people living in those latitudes are not overly troubled by wolves, their main concern being bears.
As I said, you are probably correct. It was a few years ago and I can't remember where I read the articles, so it could be mistaken, or taken out of context. I thought the article refereed to more feral wolves that had grown to a certain pack size and became overly aggressive, not necessarily regular wolves. Maybe the article was referring to a small portion of wild wolves, but who knows, I sadly can't remember the name or origin of the article.

You could be right, I am going on an article I read a while ago, and I guess you have to take each case on it's own merits. I know part of Italy are worried as wolves have begun to attack people and they are getting more aggressive.

They do not attack humans unless they're sick or facing starvation, a large group, by it's very nature of being large is well fed, and no its not aggresive. Add to that that the notion of "humans bad" is well imprinted on them and you get no human attacks.

It's basically cattle ranching scaremongering. But the numbers don't add up. More cows are sacrificed due to sickness than lost in wolf attacks.
So you hate me. Outside of the corps, I'm the one you want to kill.

You should hide, I never said you won our evil competition. I would just keep my wishlist hidden, eventually everyone else would get bored and reshow their lists. I can be very patient (and stubborn). :-)

Vnlr: We had a pigeon nest in the...*thinks very hard what this plant is called in English, gives up*, which we have about the house a year or so ago.

They had about 3 little birds, two of them managed to survive untill they left, and the last one got raised by an ornithologist from arround town (he was a bit weakish, so the other two pushed him out of the nest :( ).

The thing is, before pigeons migrated to towns to live in symbiosis with humans, they used to nest in rocky holes in cliffs; that kind of explains why they are such woeful nest-builders (we would often find dung lying arround below the nest, as well as, yes, an egg at one point), them being used to having solid foundations under their nests.

At least, that's what I heard being said at some point.

I think if we turn this into a patience and stubborness contest we are going to have a problem :D This could drag on for years ;-)
But I think this is taking a wrong turn, even if it could be fun I am not sure if the serial-gifters here could survive a mass hiding of wishlists, so I'll think of a new tactic. You might have won this fight, but the battle is far from over :P

As for the stubbornness contest, just look at me and Hyper with the Fist Puncher game. That went on for ages, with both unwilling to back down. The only reason that ended was because I found a wonderful person who wanted to play the game, so I gifted it to them. If not, I would still be trying to get Hyper to accept a game he doesn't want. It's a bitter sweet defeat. I lost to Hyper, but I got to gift the game to someone who really wanted it, so that's okay. :-)

He gets away with too much, but as long as Top Gear is so popular they will let him do what he wants. Another company in the UK has told him that if the BBC ever does sack him (which they should), then they will gladly take him on and do another car show, one that will be identical to Top Gear in all but name.

Legend of Kyrandia are great games. Especially the third one.
