As a side note, a gentle reminder. If you haven't already, (which is unlikely from what I know about most of you) vote for the discworld games in the wishlist. Let's hope at least the first ones get added to gog's catalog.

ddickinson: Good morning, Owl! *big return hug*
I like snakes, just as long as they don't bite me :-). I am used to seeing adders, so they don't bother me. It's easy to spot them in my garden, but out in the fields we sometimes find a few hidden away, luckily so far I have never been bitten, as they are generally passive animals and more interested in small mammals. The males wrestle each other and that can be quite interesting to watch.
I am good, thank you. I got back from the funeral directors a little earlier (we had an early appointment), and now I am just doing some paperwork and some other stuff. And in between I am on the forum and sorting my wishlist a little at the time.
How is your day? Are you feeling better now you have had some coffee?
I've never seen "free" snakes, and I don't really know how I would react, but I don't think I would be very brave... I like snakes, just as long as they don't bite me :-). Okay... paperwork stuff and GOG. Sounds quite peaceful as a program... ;-)
My day is rather good so far... the sun is shining... nobody bothers me yet... and the coffee gently wakes and warm me up... u__u
ddickinson: I was only joking about it being your fault. I have not been getting enough sleep for a while now. Mainly due to all the stuff I have had to deal with since Christmas. My brain just needs a little time to rest and restart and I will be fine.
But I hear you also did not get much sleep. So have a big wake up hug. *wake up hug*
(I know you were joking ! ;-p) ... I also know about your lack of sleep... :-| May I silently worry a little ? ... And just wish you that it will be fixed very soon ?... But I hear you also did not get much sleep. So have a big wake up hug. *wake up hug*

ddickinson: Good morning, everyone! *hugs and waves*
Spring must finally be coming as I had a lovely Adder in my garden this morning. They are the only deadly venomous snake in the UK and are quite rare to see this time of year.
Adder fact: They are one of the few reptiles who don't lay eggs, they give birth to little tiny baby snakes.
That's a fine looking snake. I didn't realise we got snakes like that here, I thought they were only really small ones. Spring must finally be coming as I had a lovely Adder in my garden this morning. They are the only deadly venomous snake in the UK and are quite rare to see this time of year.

I'd love to see one in the wild, we didn't have snakes in Ireland and I've never seen one since coming here.

I think France would also have Adders, and probably a mix of other snakes as well. Okay... paperwork stuff and GOG. Sounds quite peaceful as a program... ;-)

I still have to go out and do some more physical stuff, but most of the day is me being inside and keeping an eye on my mum, who is not dealing with everything to well, what with her health and her fall and what is happening with my niece's death.
I am glad you are having a peaceful and sunny day. It's not very sunny here and there is a cold wind, but the day is still nice, with lots of birds out singing.

Adders are not very common anymore, they are actually a protected species in the UK. I don't see them too often, but they do look very nice. I have seen some baby ones at a near by animal centre, they look like little worms with scales, so cute. I think they have them in Scotland, but mainly rural areas. I'd love to see one in the wild, we didn't have snakes in Ireland and I've never seen one since coming here.
My brother has a nice Corn Snake, which is always fun to hold. They are the ones you see in most pet shops and are not venomous. They are not native to the UK, I think, and are just imported for pets.

I'm quite a mess at the moment... Medication withdrawals are being quite brutal. I just took my daily dose a couple minutes ago, so hopefully I'll start feeling better in the next 24 minutes.

I think the Corn Snake is actually from America. They are not scary looking, but I guess if you don't like snakes they could be. They don't have big fangs or anything like that. Definitely not as bad as Rattle Snakes and things like that.
AgentBirdnest: Good mornoon, my favorite owl!
