This thread better be 'free for all' because I just got hit with a silly curiosity out of the blue and it has NOTHING to do with anything that is being talked about in here, but it is gaming related.

The annual release of the new Madden game has become almost a national holiday in the States; people take off work, camp out in lines, have huge release parties not to mention all the tournaments that soon come along, several with huge paydays. So what I'm wondering is, do they even sell it in other countries?

I can absolutely respect that. In fact, TBH, knowing everything I know now, including the level of love one feels, I would choose not to bring a child into this world. It would be out of love and respect for such a child that I would make that decision.

Our world is getting worse, not better, and IMO the species is in real danger of extinction. And it will be mostly deserved, but that's a topic of discussion I'd rather not get into here. And even if extinction isn't in the cards, the loss of rights and opportunities that are occurring all over the world as we march to a new world order of fascism and police states likely will result in a life of suffering and despair that always makes me feel so guilty when I think about it that I can almost no longer face my son I am so ashamed.

So, yeah, I do not begrudge your decision AT ALL. In fact, I respect it. I was just sharing my observation of love above because it totally blew my mind. In a good way.

Also while I have often heard about stores being sold out of FIFA games, I've never head of camping out for it, or tournament leagues on release date. Perhaps due to the fact that the most interested people in said game are 15 year old chavs, of which there is, unfortunately no shortage.

There's just one problem......Maple syrup on the bacon pancakes would probably be even better. I have not necessarily tried maple syrup with bacon pancakes but I have tried maple syrup with bacon waffles.

As for your question, found an article mentioning an international release date, so I'd say yes. How well it does in other countries, I can't say.

Bacon, eggs, coffee, sausage (preferably larger ones with decent seasoning rather than the shitty mini-links that infest U.S. supermarkets like a greasy plague), pancakes for the bread component (no toast since that'd be redundant given toast with jam's role in providing the combo of sweet and salty that pancakes does with syrup and butter, only better), and some orange juice (tartness helps to cut through grease, sugar and salt -laughs-).

Aside from being ready to chew paint off the walls for sustenance, how's your day going?

I despise any and all sports games, with the possible exception of car racing ones which shouldn't be a sport, more of a competition.

Hell, I even find bloodbowl boring.

That said, I despise American Football with a specially toxic bile that can melt through steel like a xenomorph's blood. I despise everything about it, from it's dumbed down tactics, to the armour pads player wear, to the apparently overused pauses to discuss tactics.

And while I'm not precisely a fan of Rugby, I'll defend that game against its yank bastardization. It's more dynamic, more tactical, and requires both brain and balls of men who don't mindlessly charge forward and aren't allowed to wear protective padding.
