Good morning, everyone! *hugs and waves*

Spring must finally be coming as I had a lovely Adder in my garden this morning. They are the only deadly venomous snake in the UK and are quite rare to see this time of year.

Adder fact: They are one of the few reptiles who don't lay eggs, they give birth to little tiny baby snakes.

Snakes are not too bad, at least not in England. My partner is not keen on them, so I made sure to leave her a little note so that she wouldn't be startled by it. Adders are not usually aggressive and mainly feed of small mammals.

How is your morning so far? I hope you had a good nights sleep?

Ghorpm: I wasn't expecting anything good from the game so what I got mildly amused me. You, on the other hand, was apparently expecting something better, perhaps that's why our general opinions about the game differ. But only general, because I agree with most of your points up there. The game has many, many flaws. Reaching a lighthouse was my favorite part of it... but as I said: I'm not going to play it again.

I got my hopes up, and it was another suckfest of a game to slog through.
Heh, my ignorance saved me. Because you see, I usually know very little about game developers and I rarely realize that game X was made by the same company that had made game Y. I realized that Alan Wake was by the creators of Max Payne after finishing it...

I have to admit I am not good with animals in general and if it is about snakes and such I'll just stay as far away as possible :D But on the other side I think for example sheep are even more dangerous ;-)

Most snakes don't go out of their way to attack people, just like spiders don't. They just get a bad reputation. Not that people don't get randomly bitten now and then, but generally speaking it's not too common. I think in England only 100 people a year on average get bitten by an Adder, and no one had died from a bite in over 40 years, due to anti-venom.

I am glad your morning is going okay and that you had a good sleep. I ended up with about two hours sleep, but I blame Owl for that as she kept me up talking. :-)

Are you looking forward to having a relaxing weekend?
