Woo hoo! [Redacted]'s tax return is done and on its way to California via FedEx! They're a corporation that files returns in 27 states, counties, cities, school districts, and transportation districts.

"How were your taxes this year?"
"8 pounds!"

Whew!
Forgot to ask,are you gonna try to take on Satan and the Demi-Fiend?

EBToriginal: Monogatari is story not saga in this case. So says the original author (or at least his publishing company).

Wow. I imagine that one took a while. A long, long while. Good to hear it's out of your hair. =)

AgentBirdnest: Now why would I be fearful of ninja gifting? It is great :-)
I used to be uncomfortable with receiving gifts, but I have warmed up to it recently. If people enjoy gifting half as much as I do, I'll happily let them do it. It is a win-win situation.
I am still a bit sad that I missed the Insomnia sale. All those games that I could have gifted :-). Not to mention the fun that always comes with the sale.

avatar
CarrionCrow: No way. That game is 175 hours, 9 playthroughs dead. I'm not resurrecting that corpse for anything. -laughs-

Yeah, those Mutators were hit and miss. I ended up with Rex Nubular (or however it's spelled, can't be bothered to look). Not exactly a game I would have chosen myself.
Exactly, think of the deterrent if it cost you 175 hours of torture for every time you smoke. That would be sure to make you quit.

You're not the only one sad about it. We missed you.

On the nose. :) Just getting it processed after printing took me 4 hours. The accounting time behind it is way big. Usually a 5-digit bill, though on the very low side of that.

Now we're down to one huge, troubling (for me) return due by Monday. They just file in 10 states. :)

I know, I came back to some very sweet messages. Hopefully next time I can be here and I can enjoy all the madness. I can't let trentonlf have all the fun gifting without me. :-)

That would end up having the opposite effect, though.
If I had to suffer through all that again, I'd have to smoke to keep from putting my fist through my computer.

The low side of 5 figures is still a hell of a bill to file your taxes.

Fortunately the other one's smaller. (Somewhat.) It's Wednesday, you've been working 12+ hour days when needed, so that one should be gone by Monday unless some large complication occurs.

:-D

Oh, there were several new faces joining in the gifting. The bastards....
Well I had better call it a night. Probably not going to get much sleep, but who knows. I am feeling a lot more relaxed today so maybe I can start getting some sleep again and stop feeling so tired all the time.

Goodnight, everyone!

*goodnight hugs, and good night waves*

Well gifting addiction is addictive, it's only natural that others fall to the dark side. :-)

I can see your point, that would be a vicious circle: playing Soulstorm as punishment for smoking, but having to smoke in order to play Soulstorm, which in turn makes you have to play Soulstorm more, which then makes you smoke more. The circle would just go on and on. :-)
Sorry about the super late replies, I kind of got distracted by real life again. :)

gunsynd: Hello,how should I address you...Fearful:-)
Hey! *waves* Fearful is fine. :P

ddickinson: Good evening!

I am doing okay today, thank you.

How are you doing tonight?
I'm doing just fine! I've had a tiring day, but it was a pretty good one.

avatar
moonshineshadow: hey *wave* doing ok, how are you doing?
*waves back* I'm doing fine! :)

That circle will never happen, since there would have to be a huge incentive to ever play that again, for any reason.
Kinda hate that thing now.

Hopefully you'll be able to get some decent rest and feel better in the morning.
Have a good night, sleep well. =)
Wow...actually beat 2 levels of Cotton Alley in the same day, and with minimal screaming, cursing and wishing death on someone.

Pretty cool. -laughs-

I actually just asked about it over Wednesday evening pizza. "I might extend it." That'll work! :)

This had me hankering for a game set in the South. :)

Or maybe a Mississippi cafe: http://www.cottonalleycafe.com/

Yeah...you've kinda been working your ass off. An extension would be nice.

Oh no...no Southern-based games here.
I'm referring to this.
Walls of bullets, jumping over a few dozen blades, dodging flying monsters while your platforms fall apart, rising levels of lethal Pepto Bismol and son of bitching shrapnel demons that chase you and explode into fragments when they touch anything at the moment. -laughs-
