moonshineshadow: I know what you mean, but I am resisting, I think Endre and I finally reached a state of gifts where we can both be happy so I'll take a little break :D

*big hug* And I don't mind if you want to complain, feel free to either here or in pm if you prefer. My cough is still the same, but I was expecting that :-)

ddickinson: *return big hug*

Where as I have not gifted much, so I still have the temptation. I have been tying to resist giving a lot of gifts, but I keep looking at people's wishlists and choosing possible games to gift.
*big comforting and calming hug*
So it is a good thing for you that Crow has been badgering us to keep our wishlist up to date :D But I know what you mean I often visit wishlists and think "Oh this game should be really gifted" ;-)

Gifting addiction does seem to be a problem around here. :-)

I am trying to decide between a few higher priced gifts, or more smaller gifts. One way I gift a few people games they might really want, or I gift more people games they may only be loosely interested in. But I just can't decide which would be best.

Gifting addiction? What's that? I don't know what you are talking about *quickly closes all wishlists*

If you want my opinion I would go for fewer gifts but games people really want, makes it more meaningful.
Two replies at once... I don't know which to choose... ;-)

I'm doing well. A bit of a headache, but that's nothing new. Other than that, I feel quite pleasant and relaxed. I think I'll go for a walk later in the lovely weather we've been having.

Sounds like a great plan *happy hug* I am glad that you are doing well.

That's what I was thinking. I mentioned to Crow that it would be nice for people to list their 5 most wanted games on GOG, that way it would be a perfect list for gifters. I did that at Christmas to a few people. I told them I was just curious, then attacked them with ninja gifts. Then ran away doing my evil laugh as they were forced to accept the gifts. :-)

A good walk outside is always nice. I was tempted to go swimming this morning, but the lake is still a bit too cold, I do have my swimsuit just in case, but I think it will be a while before it's warm enough.

Also, just in case you don't read the posts you missed, we decided that the huggers are allowed cookies and the good ice cream, with the mean boys only being allowed plain ice cream. So I hope you were nice and gave Moon lots of hugs when she was full of cold? If not, then it's no cookies for you. :-)
Just dropping in to say Hi!. I'd really love to follow here, but -> workload.
Morning all :)

Hi Tom, you would be more than welcome to join us :)
But I have to say, keeping up with this thread feels like a job all in itself sometimes... ;)
Thankfully only a few posts for me to read this morning, as opposed to the 10 pages I sometimes read to catch up :)
(I need to stop using so many smilies.. I seem to end every sentence with one at the moment)

I don't know how people could fall for that. You being you it would be quite obvious that it was not just for curiosity :D

Good morning (or is it afternoon in Germany?)!

How do you think I feel, I don't know how many pages I missed while I was away. I did not go back and read them though, I just assumed if I missed anything good people would say. As for the smilies, that just means you are a happy chappy today.

I can be very sneaky with gift giving. Just take Hyper, for example. If I really wanted to get him to accept Fist Puncher, I'm sure I could find a way. But I like to let him think he has one over on me by not getting gifted. It makes him happy, which makes me happy. :-)

Yeah, I try and read everything when I can, but there have been a couple of times where I haven't been able to get on through the day and by the time I check the thread again there are 20 new pages... so I tend to just leave it and assume people will me if I missed anything too.

I suppose I am feeling pretty happy at the moment. Things are generally looking up for us at the moment, which is nice and it always makes me smile to see all the gifting going on when there is a big sale. Reminds me that not all people are awful.
Plus I've received some very nice and generous gifts which makes me happy to :)
