CarrionCrow: One big question, though - where in the holy hell do I start? -laughs-
Sounds insane compared to long ago when having a single game was awesome, but damn, the list is very, VERY long and chock full of good stuff.
Go alphabetically. May I make a suggestion for Blood?

Yeah I know exactly what you are talking about. I always end up going to my shelf thinking "ok, what game could I start today?" ... and end up being more confused than before since there are so many that I could start :D
Often I pick a couple of games that appeal to me most in that moment and throw a dice to decide :P

moonshineshadow: That is good to hear :D My backlog also increased quite a bit in the last weeks, as soon as I get home after the holidays I "need" to get working on that ;-P

While my backlog has increased significantly this month it will have to wait a bit. First game i'm going to play is going be the Art of War expansion for EU IV. After that, no idea... probably go with whatever i feel in the mood for at the time. Or maybe i'll finish Divinity Original Sin and start on Wasteland 2. That's already filled up 1000+ hours of my time right there. XD

Of course. =) Think I'll load up one from each general genre, and that'll work like a charm for the FPS part.

Well, I've got a few that are in progress. Anything else, I'll take off and replace with things people gifted me. That sounds like a good way to get the ball rolling.
Well... this is kind of like waking up to find the forum is covered in snow, except it's not snow but spam :/

Thank god I have this thread favourited...

I hope someone ar GoG is working despite it being Boxing Day...

Anyway, I can completely understand what you mean about knowing where to start. I have about 10% of the games you have and still find it difficult to choose... I never used to start more than 1 game at a time, but now I've started dozens at once just to have at least played them (and to know which ones I really like). I would feel bad to not at least put a few minutes into a game I had won or was gifted. Ironically it usually means the ones I actually buy myself get ignored... XD

Looking at this, I'm beginning to think that, completed wishlist or not, I might need to take a break from buying after I hit 600, play a whole lot more and not make any more purchases until a certain percentage have actually been beaten.

I keep saying I'll stop buying stuff and entering giveaways, but then someone gives away something I'd like to try or a free game is given away somewhere, or I get ninja gifted... at this rate I think if I put an hour into a game I've at least given it a chance and if it doesn't absolutely grip me I will come back to it at some point...

Well, I don't do giveaways, so that's one less venue for additional backlog. Had a lot of really incredible gifting-based generosity, so that's a top-priority stack. Month or two when those are gone, though, I figure I'll go after whatever looks good at the moment.
Just a heads up as GOG hasn't posted a relevant headline/thread, there is currently a 6-day Square-Enix promo running with all Square-Enix games (except for Gex), discounted by 75%.

Thank you for the heads-up. =) Plenty of good stuff in that sale, not bad at all.
Good day, peeps. Everyone survived the eating and drinking of yesterday? And the idiot's flood of counterproductive posts?

Good morning. =) Didn't eat to excess, didn't drink that much either, and in the process of helping to wipe out the spam.
How's your day going?

Good morning to you as well. =) Actually had a far better holiday than usual, the best I can remember since I don't know when.
I hope yours was good also.

Yeah, just seen that. I should pick up the Hitman games at some point. I loved the first two, and the third one was what stopped me PC gaming (it never worked on my old laptop and I stopped spending money on games I couldn't play after that)

Edit: Actually... now that I look at it, it's the second and third games I played (with the third being largely a remake of the first), and it must have been 4 I never managed to play.
