CarrionCrow: Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. =)

It seems that Insomnia actually has some speed again. Watching the combo of Gabriel Knight and Mind was a bit on the maddening side with how slowly they both went.
It looks like GOG's cutting quantities for round 3 items, so I guess they don't want this sprawling into next week any more than the people still trying to get items do. -laughs-

But anyway. I hope you're all having a pleasant enough weekend, with a bare minimum of the digital contagion that seems to be spreading at the moment. =)
I knew this forum had 'bugs' but I thought it meant programming errors. :-)

Those are "Features" from the systems of yore, to have that "Good old Forums" feel... :P

Good evening *hug* And yep, gog is cutting the numbers, for one game it was actually visible. It appeared with 200 copies and two minutes later was changed to 100 copies :-)

-laughs- Yeah, same here.
Hell, I'd rather they stick with those, as opposed to watching the people I talk with every day get nailed one after the other with frigging colds, flus and other assorted garbage.

I wish I'd been awake to see that. Would have laughed my ass off.

As it stands, only 28 items left. Hard to tell which will be the fast movers, but with both Anomaly items still in play, I can definitely see some potential salestoppers. -laughs-

Also, I have something to share with everyone - between continued compulsion, and in no small part aided by the continued generosity of people here, my stockpile now stands at 600.

The march to 600 has concluded, so now the march to 700 can begin!!!!!!!!

Oh God no not again!

MIND was AWESOME by the way. I don't know anything about the game, but wow was that an impressive stall.

I'm sure that was the one ddickinson was talking about and said it wasn't great... not surprised it's not selling.

Edit: Also, anyone watching the BBC series of the Musketeers? It pretty much desecrates the story of the book but if you ignore that it's a pretty good series.

I will make it end...a fistful of games at a time, I will make this deranged, seemingly neverending quest for completion end.

Didn't know that; loved that it went up with hundreds and hundreds of copies that crawled! Maybe GoG felt some poor suffering people could use some sleep now that we're creeping near another workweek after a long 5 days of Insomnia.

Considering how many great games GoG has got you'd think they could have dumped the absolute duds from the sale and sold something a bit more popular... Then again, like you say, perhaps they want to give people a break now and then... :D

An occasion indeed! On a march to ultimate victory, one little sale at a time! :-)

This definitely feels like a push on GOG's part to get more of the mid-range priced titles more sales.

The first Insomnia had a focus on the classics. The second had a focus on some of the lesser known older games, and some focus on independent titles as well.
But this one put a lot of weight into things that many people might find to be interesting, but they're not willing to take the risk due to the lack of reputation and higher price points.

(And then there are items like Anomaly Defenders. Those just suck. ;) )

EndreWhiteMane: Whew! Starting to think Keane 2 won't show up at all. :-)

Edit: They certainly are keeping you waiting, you still have 3 to go right?

moonshineshadow: Only two as far as I remember. Stilton was awesome and got me Mind: Path to Thalamus which showed up last night :-)
I like being called awesome ;-)

I'm just going to stand in front of a mirror and strike an awesome pose. I'll be back in a day or two...

Careful your head doesn't swell up too much, the horns could splinter and kill you.
