CarrionCrow: Well, I just started it, but like it so far.

From what I remember, Endre's gotten a lot further and he likes it quite a bit.

moonshineshadow: I have not played it yet, but I bought it because I think it looks interesting. Sorry to not be much help ;-)
Three opinions out of two posts, that has to be a record ;-)

I think I might go for it based on that, as I too like the look of it, and if two esteemed players such as Crow and Papa Smurf like it, then its probably good ;-)

Thank you, people ;-)

I remember playing games from the same company like Deja Vu back when they were on the NES.
Couldn't help but get an updated version of something like that.

CarrionCrow: -laughs- My go-to answer for everything I haven't already played.

"Why should I buy this?"

"Well, it looked good, so I bought it. The other 45 looked good as well, so I bought them too. Hope it helps."
Yep :D That is the problem with backlogs, yuo can't really answer questions about all these games ;-) But your answer sounds quite cool, I think I need to adjust mine a bit :P
I gollit ;-)

We'll get there eventually. And then we'll be exhaustive sources of information pertaining to numerous GOG games. -laughs-

Course, I already know that any plan I have for games is getting shifted on the 10th. Tuesday is Hotline Miami 2 day. >=)

Yep, but that is also an awesome part of gaming. Getting a game you really want first day and starting play it at once. I love it when I get games like that.

That makes me happy :-) *big hug*
Okay, this is reeeeally geeky, but when I hit the GOG downloader to start Shadowland, I guestimated where to move the right side of my browser so it would align with the left edge of the downloader window when it opened (I have the downloader placed on the extreme right side of my desktop).

Well, they only lined up perfectly, like pixel perfect.

I can feel eyes rolling and slow breath exhaling, but it made me really happy to see that.

Maybe I'm high on something... I'd better check to see if I've left any glue tubes open...

That's not being geeky. That's just having things really well positioned. ;)

Unlike those bison horns sticking out of my skull. Just looking at the image gives me a headache... I might try a bit of Photoshopping and see what I look like without them.

Yeah, I imagine you really would be stern if you had the constant migraine, neck, shoulder and back pain those would cause.
Also, it'd probably get old after you slammed those things into doorways a few times.

It might all be worth it, for all those odd looks you might receive whilst out and about town...

Now, the Shadowgate DLC upgrade seems to consist of just visual stuff and a soundtrack etc. I was expecting some added something to enhance the game...

Edit - just read the first review and all is clear ;-) Pricey when at full price, but within this package its a gentle kiss on the cheek from a beautiful wraith, which I think would be fairly pleasant...
