Until all the list of fresh games is through with the third round... which can take days if they continue to put such a high number of the games on the sale.

[edit] Here is the list of what games are still on for the third round:

Vnlr: ...perhaps we should be calling the current system financial pathogenism then? :)

I'm all for communism myself (mind you, not orthodox, but more like Tito), or at the very least extreme socialism; Even though I myself am not at all fond of violence, I don't really see how the current situation could be resolved without knocking the heads of some upper class gits together?

Since you are obviously better informed than I am, how would you see this "rising up of the people" work? (purely out of interest)
It is a matter of percentages and human nature....

The shadow banking system (derivatives and Off Balance Sheet accounting)) is somewhere around 1000 trillion in toxic assets floating around, this being controlled by the 0.1 percent of wealthy people.

We are set up for the biggest crash in world history, following the last biggest crash in world history. In the last financial crisis, not a single culprit has gone to prison, except in Iceland, where it appears they are going to prosecute the bankers.

And the fraudulent debt wasn't wound down (forgiven), instead they (the 0.1%) doubled down on the criminal practices and started Quantitative Easing (printing money and lending it out to themselves at zero percent interest) theoretically to help cover the losses, but they just keep producing more debt, and profits and bonuses for themselves as well.

In this next crash, the top 1 percent of the wealthy will be hit hard since they are the only ones left with real wealth to confiscate, and then they will be joining the rest of us in stopping the madness, through the courts and politics. When the 1% joins the rest of the population in taking down the 0.1%, you can officially call it a Revolution. ;)

Most of the problems will be how this all gets wound down. If they try to double down on the Ideology again, it will cause great suffering for the worlds population, and definitely result in violence. However, if we start writing off the fraudulently created debts, it will impact those most responsible, holding them accountable for the losses, but we will then have a chance to start putting them behind bars.

Heads will roll politically too, of course, but with that it is a double edged sword, If push comes to shove, and a revolutions breaks out turns to "knocking heads" of the wealthy, which is possible, it won't be like it was in past revolutions. Today we have systems of Justice to use, even with the corrupt Judges, who can be removed.
(Anyone has some news from DD ? :'-| ... I often think about her... I hope she's fine...)

No :-(
I wrote her a message and sent her some hugs. I hope she'll be back soon.

Haven't seen a thing from her in a while, and I tend to be here quite a bit.

Also getting more than a bit concerned about her wellbeing.

Additional - Sokobond is a puzzle game wherein you have a certain number of atoms that have to be connected in a certain way to make molecules.
Each atom has a certain number of connections it can make to other atoms, as is displaying by the spinning orbs around them.
(And yes, I'm certain there's an actual scientific name for those components, but I dropped out of frigging high school and I'm too lazy to check on Google for specific terminology at the moment. Deal with it. -laughs-)

One of the gameplay elements is that you can use atoms that have no connections to move other atoms around the board.
Since both atoms have to have at least one spinning orb in order to make a connection, you can effectively manipulate them that way.

It's not a puzzle-platformer, or any kind of hybrid whatsoever. This is all puzzle game, all day.
12 completed levels in so far, but I already get the feeling that this is going to end up getting very, very complex by the end, with a whole lot of resetting the level.

But, at the very least, they do provide an undo button so you can take steps back sequentially rather than having to start from scratch every single time.

That is a nice look on things, but I'm afraid I don't have enough faith in humanity to think they won't get the vital step in paragraph two wrong :(

on the other hand, the English people did deal with Thatcher in a lovely way, to pose a counter-example to myself.

I once noticed the quote: "humanity ussualy gets it right in the end, but only after they've tried every single dumb alternative" floating arround a Richard Dawkins video on youtube, which would seem to fit nicely into the picture.

I do indeed hope the current system will fall soon, and I only hope large groups of people will get mad at those responsible for the heinous economic mischief ;)

Alternatively, if the "revolution" fails, and we keep on going as we have been doing for the past decades, I don't really see humankind making it to the next big financial breakdown for a retry (with the planet going to hell and not much being done about it and all that).

What do you think of the economic model in which the only shareholders a corporation can have are it's employees? My dad always says that's a big solution to the corporate greed at all expenses issue?
