Stilton: When I visit Switzerland (and I've wanted to for some time) I will buy vast boxes of chocolate to take home with me.
There was a chocolate from the UK I LOVED - Thornton's I think it was called? I forget. Watch it be some totally pikey stuff that no self respecting Brit would eat. But I couldn't get enough of it.

CarrionCrow: I now have two codes for Sokobond, neither of them yet redeemed.

For our resident owl lady and Moonshine, I honestly have no clue how to proceed on this one.
You're both extremely generous, and you've both put a smile on my face. Thank you for that.

Figuring I'd probably end up buying Sokobond myself, but hadn't gotten to that point. -laughs-
ok that is really funny :D I hoped no one else would have that idea, that is why I made sure to post a comment about sending a gift pm :D

Vnlr: Stilton, If you pass through Belgium somehow, on the road to switzerland, you could pick up some Belgian ale, or chocolate?

We have a long standing tradition with the stuff too in these parts, mainly found in the so called Pralines

And lots of good ale too :)
Chocolate and ale seem like heaven. Maybe even better than ale and chocolate. I shall grab truck loads of both on my way through ;-)

There are mass murderers and serial killers. We have "Mass, Serial Gifters", that's funny! :-)

Yes, it really is.
Also, the thought keeps popping into my head that this thread was a really good idea.
I often have really shit ideas, I recognize that, but this certainly wasn't one of them.
And it's not about getting gifts. I'm always struck by the generosity of people here when they decide to send a game to some weirdo on the internet, but it's not about that.
There are just a lot of good people here. Very thankful, and feeling very fortunate, for that.

Perhaps our owl would like to redeem the code herself. You could ask since her wikipage shows the game is on her wishlist and I am not sure if she bought it two times and kept one for herself.

Yep and much less dangerous ;-)

You remembered correctly. Thorntons is good, a kind of UK version of Lindt, I'd say. There are people here who make hand-made chocolates who are probably about the best it gets over here (depending on which you choose), but Thorntons is far from pikey, and nowhere near pukey. ;-)

Have a drool:

moonshineshadow: There are a lot of different ones and for example the chocolate from Lindt has gotten quite commercial and not all products from them are awesome anymore (still good but not great).

Personally I really like the ones from Sprüngli or Frey.
Lindt still remains the best chocolate at a reasonable price to be found at any supermarkets outside of a chocolatier.

Except for this, this shit is ridiculous.

And the only ones who make chilli chocolate.

CarrionCrow: Maybe so, but you need to fight off the effects. Don't let crack keep you from beating a fondly remembered game from your past.
Force those shattered synaptic connections to take a detour around the burned out parts. =)

Additional - finished off DOW2 again a couple days ago. Now gearing up to turn the "we're the Space Marines, we're so great, the Emperor is soooooooo wonderful" dipshits into the biggest pack of Chaos-worshipping freakjobs the galaxy's ever seen. >=)

j0ekerr: Interesting, do you get to choose what Chaos God? Or do they become Chaos Undivided ponces?
Not sure, I did the standard good guy run last time. But from what I remember, the path to Chaos is nothing more than doing evil-type stuff and using corrupted gear, so it probably won't get that specific.

If I turn out to be wrong, I'll be sure to let you know. Just getting started on that one.

Additional - a general request to everyone. Please keep your GOGwiki list updated. It would be very much appreciated. =)

I second this :-)
I am always quite unsure what people still would like when such a sale is going on since I am not sure if the wiki is always up to date :D
That is why I made a routine for myself. Buy a game -> open wiki -> hit sync in Barefoot_essentials :D

Same here.
Current information is important. Can't really coordinate things without it.

I prefer salty stuff with my beer.

I third this, and fourth it too if no one else does!

I also like to view people's shelves in alphabetical order, so if I'm tempted to chuck a game at them I can see quickly if they have it already or not. This is especially useful if they have more than six million games ;-)
