EBToriginal: Don't you love when your coverage says your three month old surgery paperwork is too old and that it needs to be redone. Managed to wake up vomiting in frustration.
Don't know about that, health system is different here, but have some *comforting hugs*

CarrionCrow: Hey there. =)

Hopefully that one customer is just the start of a busy, profitable night.
Had a few more now. No guarantees but I'm fairly hopeful we'll do well, which is nice :)

Joy of administration... :-| we kinda know that here too...

Greetings to all, and to all a good day!

I got distracted from the Insanity sale yesterday, by phone calls, and I had to groom,
so only picked up 2 games total. Maybe I'll get one more if a certain Title pops up.

Otherwise, all is well here, or as well as can be expected.

I might even pop out of my cave to forage for snacks and hunt for treasure,
whilst interacting with creatures rummaging about that I may encounter...

How is the world turning for you all?

Good morning to you as well. (And of course, a good morning/afternoon/evening to everyone else also, since I seem to have skipped proper greetings and gone right into conversation.)

Foraging...outside of the cave? Sounds very high risk, low reward to me. -laughs-

What games have you ended up with so far?

CarrionCrow: It'll be okay. Those lost puzzle solutions will come whizzing back to you sooner or later.

Probably best for you to not think of the chunk of your brain that contained that knowledge once as being a smoking crater now. ;)
It probably is. I mean, cocaine is a hell of a drug!

Maybe so, but you need to fight off the effects. Don't let crack keep you from beating a fondly remembered game from your past.
Force those shattered synaptic connections to take a detour around the burned out parts. =)

Additional - finished off DOW2 again a couple days ago. Now gearing up to turn the "we're the Space Marines, we're so great, the Emperor is soooooooo wonderful" dipshits into the biggest pack of Chaos-worshipping freakjobs the galaxy's ever seen. >=)

Hi, Ghost.

The day's been good so far. Weather's bright but cooling rapidly. I've been playing a bald bar-coded assassin quite a bit and enjoying a little forum activity. Only questionable item was tasting some truly disgusting chocolate. Sort of like a mouthful of fat with a vague bitter cocoa flavour. Sucking my big toe would probably taste nicer. Other than that, no complaints ;-)

LaPtiteBete: Hello Ixamyakxim !
It's very quiet in here :)
How are you doing ?
Not bad - internet went down got scared LOL! Luckily all I'm looking for are "lucky clicks" (no Grimrock 2 for me... but after getting a huge game off my wishlist due to a good click anything now is just icing on the cake!) on a game or two - you're sure right about the Keaning! My sympathies go out to all the people still actively hunting games they want :)

Time to go get a clean log out / log in now that I'm back online. I don't know if that's still "a thing" or just a holdover from the old days but I still like to make sure just in case LOL.

Now experiencing the image of your shieldmaiden attempting to help you get your big toe into your mouth as you both contend with the problems of contorting yourself around full body armor...

Risky? No more, or less, than anyone else who steps outside their cave, or front door, in this age,
and living in the big city... Foraging can be many things, bulk buying at Costco, walking to the corner
for sandwiches, or hunting down DVD/BluRAy deals... you know the score. :)

Still, I prefer a life of semi-seclusion, a hermit-ish existence, for now. It really helps to cut down
complications, and allows me to watch the world turn more closely, and also work on my
writing when the mood strikes.

As for games. just two, Wasteland 2, the must get game of the sale, and Inquisitor,
which I was interested in already so I let myself be talked into getting it. heh!

That's positively monstrous! Even diabolical in design... disgusting chocolate?

That is almost better than the chocolate covered dog treats we used to eat as kids and give out as
joke gifts... and that pickle Jar too, where do you forage for food?

True, true...the convenience store people and the librarians are pleasant enough.

Nice selections. Already had Inquisitor (still envisioning a horribly corrupt satanic priest who tortures others to draw attention away from his own infernal activities), and picked up Wasteland 2 during round 1.

Now I just have to get through Wasteland 1. -laughs-

The best part is I have multiple sets of the paperwork done and turned in already and they keep dragging their feet on one side so they can say somethi else needs to be redone. It's standard operating procedure for anthem blue cross in California to be shitty until the state Supreme Court tells them to stop. And then they go to the next person and repeat the process.

Reminds me of Naked Lunch. Next up they'll be stamping your paperwork with disappearing ink.

Yes, the image comes with its own sound effects, which is highly amusing. Maybe its a Viking trait to want to put your big toe in your mouth when you've tasted something unpleasant. Can't be many water taps in Viking culture. 'Hey, that raw elk was disgusting. I think I'm going to blow chunks...' 'Not in here, I've just vacuumed. Quick, put your big toe in your mouth!' Clank, clank, scrape...
