CarrionCrow: On this computer, I can do a CD in 3 minutes. 72 CD's, 3 minutes per, 216 minutes in total, 3 hours 36 minutes just on that part.

They have an old busted up one that's full of country music I ripped and put on there for them.
They're not big on upgrades.
Probably because they barely know how to use the one they have...

EndreWhiteMane: The country music thing explains a lot. :-)
I never ask to borrow their MP3 player, let's put it that way. ;)

Additional - when I look at the GOG catalog with owned items hidden, it's kinda empty.
Also, as I'm doing this, there's a voice in my brain that asks me why in the holy hell I'm still looking.
This has got to end at some point...

Apartment hunting day two went much better. Gonna take my other roommate over monday and if she likes it then we will all apply. So between that and some more work on my little personal project.

Good to hear. =) Hopefully it'll work out well for your group and the moving process will go smoothly.

I think you put that period in there a bit too soon!

*edit to add People I knew used to get a kick out of the fact that my number one criterion used to be MUST HAVE HOT WATER DISHWASHER!

I'm just shy of 400 on my shelf and it's going to take me a while to get there. I still comb through the catalog and really can't get too thrilled about much. Most of my wishlist is expensive stuff or games I can't figure out why I put there in the first place. :-)

My version of that would be "must have a hot water dishwasher, or a captive with a rough tongue".

I wouldn't get the apartment, but the reaction would be funny.

376.75 is what you need to clear your list, as it stands right now. No sales, no discounts, that's the base amount.

Aside from Pillars and Original Sin, you've got 9 in the range of 15 to 20 dollars.

Those things look like the core of your wishlist, cost-wise.

LOL is it wrong / odd that I picture some hunched over skinny guy chained to the sink, tattered rag in hand, when you say this?
The tracker thread is only 300 posts short of this one... damn that's a lot of conversation in a short time.
Its nice to sit here and peacefully watch the GOG world go round now that my wants are no longer (for this sale, anyway). Although I've been taking things in a much more sedate manner than in past sales, its still good to have it all done with. The obsessive approach sucks so much energy out of my ageing body its just not worth doing any more. I'm not sure there's really much more I want from GOG's current list. My wishlist currently stands at 32, which is fairly modest, and although that will fluctuate as moods change and new items appear, I can't see it changing significantly. I don't know if I like that or not - having a whole load of stuff to aim for was sort of exciting, but having the bulk of it behind me is a lot more relaxing. Owning/wanting stuff is weird. On one hand it validates life by, in its way, making it more pleasurable, and on the other it takes you away from doing things you feel are morally more worthwhile, which destabilizes. To consume, or not to consume, that might well be the question. For most of us the pleasure principle wins out and we spend until we're sated, at least temporarily. Thank fuck for recycling, otherwise we'd drown in all the crap we throw away after we thought we wanted it. Thankfully digital stuff can sit on a hard drive unobtrusively until its used. Imagine all the boxed games and music circulating uselessly if digital downloads weren't with us. Scary.

No, that was kinda the image I was going for. =)

Well, that or someone chained up in the closet who gets hooked to a leash when it's time for dish cleanup.

Either/or. ;)

I can't believe, how in a few short sales, the tracker thread has gone from running neck and neck with the official thread to just outright destroying it in postcount.

You analyzed my entire wishlist in like 10 minutes? You're either very good or have definitely been spending too much time in this catalog. :-)
Yeah, I have some expensive tastes in there. Considering I'm hesitating over $2.39 at the moment this will take a while. ;)

LOL even stranger that you said leash - I was going to add "by a collar" to my post but thought it was a bit too risques - thanks for making me feel better.

Yeah, nit will suck not having a regional pack for a back yard, but a nicer place closer to friends and a supermarket across the road.

You must have missed when I talked about going to a hypnotism kink lecture and they mentioned a hypnotism and rope play party. And when I pointed out the bloody goodness on my fetlife.

You don't have a very large list. Makes it easier. As a bonus, it gives my brain something to gnaw on besides my own list.

Once the core that I mentioned is cleared, the rest won't be too hard.
