tinyE: I'll never forget the great Calumet traffic jam of '07.

Three cars! :O

Stilton: I suppose it depends on where they were jammed...
Yeah Baby! Yeah!
Good thing I went looking for my mug. There were wet crumbs from dipping biscuits in tea at the bottom.

hurm, I dunno about having tea at midnight.
If Hitman 2 doesn't appear in the next 6,000 rotations I'm going to bed, and I don't care who knows it.

If it's any consolation, your game will show up a hell of a lot sooner than newer games will. Round three for that is going to be a massive drag.
Then I shall have some.

I really think the mentalist should have ended when they caught Red John. The FBI thing feels like a tacky extension.

Wonder how they'll handle it when the oldies are done and the newbies have a longggg way to go?

A few people are wondering about that, myself included. I guess it'll depend on how quickly they want to wrap up the sale.

If they want it done fast, they'll shift over to two newer items going at once instead of one.
If they want it slow, they'll leave it as is.

(This is assuming that GOG has an alternate front page setup for when the older games finish. They could very well just have the one setup, leaving them no option but to let the newer items run their course.)

j0ekerr: And DD hasn't shown up at all.

Hope she's ok.
She's been going through a lot lately, I hope the reason she hasn't posted or updated is more because she's been experiencing a series of good events and good news rather, she certainly deserves some of that.

It's not a problem, I'm resigned to waiting and I'm enjoying myself here, anyway. As usual, the forum makes it all better.

Yes, she does. Everyone here has had a less than splendid year but I think hers has been the worst so far.

Quite.

Perhaps when she comes back she can come up with a few amusing contributions to the wordgame we were playing earlier, that we couldn't even imagine.

Yes, it certainly does. Without it, Insomnia would be damned long, and potentially very dull.
Halfway is up.

Is it me? Or did Hotline Miami open the season for top down view shooters?

You mean it isn't already? ;-)

Halfway isn't like Hotline Miami. It's turn/action-point based, and the characters gain experience, equipment and what-not as they go.

Hotline Miami, on the other hand, is closer to something like Contra, only 30 times faster, 10,000 times more bloody and completely insane.

I'm just really glad I didn't try to do a full run of round 2. That would've gotten ugly.

Additional - 42 older games left to go, then round 3 is complete and that side of Insomnia is over.
