AgentBirdnest: I find Saving Private Ryan relaxing. World of Goo made me nauseous from stress.
ô__ô what....... ?

LaPtiteBete: By the way, I've just put my 200th game on my shelf... Huge THANKS to our AgentB for this !! \o/

AgentBirdnest: Congratulations! I'm so happy to be part of such an epic milestone :-)
And thank you, little owl, for your generous gift which I am downloading right now! :-)
You're very welcome :")

HypersomniacLive: Hey Moon, when can we expect to see your new avatar?

avatar
Stilton: About a ten minute snooze, if that counts for anything, seated, on a hard chair... I got pins and needles in certain areas that I need not describe :/
avatar
HypersomniacLive: We all know you're a tough as nails Viking and all, but you need to treat yourself a tad better.
That's very good advice, and I'm going to start as of now. Which means food and a laze in front of the PC.

Have we advanced to stealth hugs now? That's state of the art technology and hasn't been fully tested. For heaven's sake take care!

It will take some time. I tried some things but the problem is that I am not exactly sure how I want the new one to be. I want to retain the feeling of this one since it is nostalgic to me but at the same time do something new and fresh. So I am experimenting a bit.

I had a feeling that might be the case, but thank you anyway .-)

Saving Private Ryan might be a -slight- exaggeration... But generally, the more intense and action-packed a movie or video game is, the more relaxing it is to me. A constant bombardment of action that barely allows me to think can suppress my anxiety quite well.

Slower paced games and movies give me time to think. *shudder*

It's actually been changing lately, though. I have a really good person in my life who has been helping me relax a lot and calm my anxiety. I can watch or play just about anything without getting anxious now.

Hey all! How's everyone?

Boy, between a newborn at home, and a new IT provider at work (who block any website associated with games), my GOG-time has been reduced drastically.

Browsing this insomnia sale at work on my phone has sucked. Being broke stucks more, so I haven't had much to spend anyways.

*big hug* meh that sucks that you can not browse the website at home but I guess having the newborn makes up for a lot of annyoing stuff :D

Hey, Hummer! Great to see you! Doing good here.
How are you? How's the newborn?

hummer010: <snip>
I just remembered something.

Any chance that you are interested in Blocks that matter? I am still looking for a good home of my freebie code :D

We're all doing about as well as can be hoped for. No one is sleeping as much as we'd like to. #2 still eats every 2-3 hours, so that interrupts sleeping a bit. #1 is still dealing with instantly becoming a big brother, and he's been having all these crazy dreams/nightmares about his little brother.

The irony of the insomnia sale: the real life stiff that makes me mid buying games I want is the same real life stuff that would prevent me from playing them were I actually to get them.

"a -slight- exaggeration ?" :-D ... Yes, I understand what you mean. I don't have to deal with anxiety, but some movies or games are (not necessarily slow, but) boring (to me... and at the moment...), and my brain decides to skip the thing. Same with books ; sometimes my eyes keep on reading, and after 2 or 3 pages, I realize I didn't pay any attention on what I was reading...and have to read again. >__<.

Glad that you manage to handle your anxiety much better now !! :-) this is gonna dangerously increase your entertainment possibilities !! ^^
