I'm really scared of you now, hope it's just a side-effect from all the nicotine gum you're chewing.
On a side note - Stilton would be really happy if he could be where I am, we're having an unbelievably thick fog, like in some horror B-movies, ever since very early this morning.

Stupid godsdamned people. It's Final Fantasy 3. It's an 8-bit Nintendo game. It's also quite probably the hardest Final Fantasy game ever made.
It's going to hurt you. That's a given. So stop whining about how unfair and mean it is, already.
The term "Nintendo hard" exists for a reason.
It will make you rage. And if you are a fan of Silver Surfer (like moi), you will only RAGE HARDER!
He's supposed to be as powerful as Thor, if not more, he can take a direct hit from a star destroyer's turbo-laser batteries as if it were a loud slap. And you're telling me that he DIES if he so much as BRUSHES against the CEILING?!
I don't know wether to play a game or watch porn.

Not sure how many people would participate, but I really, REALLY like the idea of people mass-gifting awful games to each other.
Nothing of any value, just things that will drive the recipients crazy.

It's really good. It's a really sad game about a procedure that has been invented in the near future in which scientists traverse your memory and alter it so you can lead a second life where you could accomplish things you always wished you did in the real world but never did.
The procedure is so intense it kills you after it is completed so it is only done on a person's deathbed.
The gameplay is mostly made up of walking around finding orbs(called memory links) and throw them at a bigger orb which is protecting an object that is important to the person whose memories you are inside. You then complete a tile puzzle to "process" the item(which is called a memento) so you can go back in time.
The story is told backwards as you go back through the patient's memories.

Good afternoon/morning fellow GOGlodytes. Did Fater Christmas/Santa Claus/Old Saint Nick bring you everything you asked for?
I'm still waiting for that lightsaber.
Spent the morning at Drangleic, got my ass thoroughly kicked, but managed to get to the Old Bastille.
Then I was slaugthered by the mid bosses.

Seems like you guys have had a pretty fun Christmas Eve. Carrion got into the hard good stuff and even began praying for his personal happiness and much suffering to the world.
I can sympathize.
I have played to the feels. I've had this discussion before with Mr Space Cheese, but it's almost not a game. Since it only has one ending, the gameplay choices don't really affect the end result. Anyways, To the feels was a very nice, and the only reason I didn't shed manly tears at the end is because my heart is a withered dry husk by now.
I still cry whenever I read Year One though. Or volumes 4 to 13 of Berserk. Or volumes 18 to 21 or 24 to 27... The whole manga really.
Basically, feats of awesome manliness deserve manly tears.
The talk about 80 pound puppies almost reanimated my heart. And brought back bittersweet recollections of my dear old great dane. That was a 110 pound puppy. He'd run to the front door, barking like a hellhound, running towards whoever was coming in. Then if the person stood his ground AND took a step forward, he'd skid, turn around and run as fast as he could with his tail between his legs.
It was also hilarious seeing the HUGE dog being chased around by the much smaller waddling bulldog.
No presents for me. But we get them on the 6th. So no worries mate.
Foxy, that is insane, the way the obstacles blink. It seems designed specifically to give you an aneurysm.
Note to self: Don't ever let Crow design a game.
