I'm doing OK this time but need to stay out of the Dog Food money. ;)

That's a good thing. I threw what little restraint I have out the window for this and said, "Stop waffling on mid-range price titles, you cheap bastard. Just buy them all instead." And so I did. Every single one of them. =)

I am not sure. I did not check the list constantly since I do not want to stay awake all night just waiting for something to show up since there is a lot of stuff going on and I want to try to get as much sleep as I can :-)

Yeah...don't do that. Dogs without food get cranky really quickly.

A thought - if you can, turn your IM thing for that other place up really loud, so if something you want shows up, I can spam the hell out of you with messages and you'll hear it.

Haven't seen DD in a while. Where's she?
And Owl,which region of France do you recommend me going? I'm planning a Christmas trip there and I want to visit both France and Belgium,maybe Portugal because I need to see Lisbon for the first time. Pay respects for Pedro Alvares Cabral and visit Belém Tower.

If anyone ever calls like that about anything. Computer, car, toaster or toothbrush.
Tell them you are busy and will need to call them back. Ask for a name, company name, phone and extension.
If they haven't hung up yet they will, or say something rude and then hang up. :-)
If it's a legitimate consultation, they will always identify themselves first.

Endre, have you ever heard of a ISP actually contacting their clients about a virus problem on a private, unmonitored computer?

At most they'd send and e-mail, and that's only if the computer has been turned into a spam zombie.
