I've always passed over Lionheart because of the rating, now that I read some reviews I might enjoy at least the first half.

That's the beauty of it. The unrealized potential, everything coming to an end. You can almost taste it in the way the complexity and nuance are burned away, leaving nothing but hollowed-out sameyness in its place. ;)

Another good item in case you can't stomach another round of regurgitated end of the month programming - The Raid: Redemption.
Saw it last night, turned out to be a pretty excellent action movie. Very few slow bits (not easy for a 100 minute movie), great fight scenes.

That looks pretty good, be a fun thing to do tomorrow, nobody will be in the house so I can fire up the real stereo. ;-)

Also, if you end up enjoying that one, there's a sequel. Based on the first, that should be pretty enjoyable as well.

Watched The Art of the Steal a couple of nights ago. Nth that hasn't been done before, but it's entertaining. Terence Stamp is great, as always.

Mine just goes in the bedroom and hides under the covers. Which considering he's an 80 pound Boxer is pretty embarrassing if a friend sees it. ;)

To anyone who's bored and has that service, just check out the cult movies section. Plenty there to watch (assuming you haven't seen them all repeatedly) - Clerks, Evil Dead 2, Clue, Big Trouble in Little China, Mad Max, Trainspotting, Hellraiser 1 and 2....
Specific suggestions - if you're in the mood for some serious 70's cheese, Death Race 2000 will certainly do it, Oldboy and Ichi the Killer are good if you want weird dark shit, and Battle Royale is excellent in general.

Dogs are weird sometimes. One here doesn't give a crap about anything, one generally doesn't mind unless it's a vacuum cleaner (or she's in a mood, which leads to worrying about the aforementioned urine flood), and the other doesn't care unless the nearby bomb detonations are going, then he pretty much loses his mind for a while.

-laughs- You're not the only one. I do the same thing sometimes. 1,000+ hour backlog of stuff, but unless I'm in a certain mood I can't sit still long enough to watch it at length.
Also, the visual of you vacuuming an 80 pound dog is hilarious. =)

He loves it and it keeps some dog hair out of the house. ;)

Not well at the moment. Trying to use drug gum when everyone around you is still smoking away....that's a challenge for someone a hell of a lot less addicted than I am, with a hell of a lot more willpower.
At this point I'm transitioning, using the gum to take the place of a few hours consumption of cigarettes at a time.
In between that, trying to get someone else to quit along with me.

Understandable, hard to smell it and stay off. I was going to try a new years resolution thing but between being trapped in the house by the weather and my anxiety disorder bullshit I think that's not a good plan. I'm going to shoot for March 1st again when I get back out in the garden. I have a freezer full of NR stuff so I'll just save it till then.

Guess I'll grab the rest of the Ultima games. That makes 3 full 15 game sets I have. One as 'original' as possible, one with all available enhancements like Exult, and now GOG versions. That should cover me. ;-)
