EndreWhiteMane: Hello white rabbity thing! Haven't played it yet but it gets pretty good reviews and sounds like a good game for patient people.
If that means I can take my time and not have to react in a split second to the enemy AI about some new development, then it's a game made for me.

That looks delicious. And the graphics still look very nice despite its age.

I'm also going to thank you for a freebie - I read your post above and had forgotten all about critical hits, so I tapped Kentucky Route Zero (something I was interested in anyway) and what do you know?

And a great way to get it, considering its open-ended nature. I don't know if all the parts are out yet or even if GOG is going to get them - there was talk in the game's reviews about it being (staying?) incomplete.

I think I've gotten most of everything cleared out, one or two impulse purchases, but I don't regret anything.

Right now, I'm waiting for the first LBA to resurface and that'll be it for me.

I still lust for more, but it'll remain outside my reach, No Dragonfall, Dreamfall or Shadowgate for me this time.

GOG still is promising the last 2 of the 5 acts on the game page so I hope we get them.
There's also a ton of nice extras that come with it.

Yes I missed it.

It's even more galling because I saw the promo, but didn't click, then moved away from the computer, forgot all about it, and when I came back, it was over.

The game's own site is saying that parts four and five will be released in the next year or so, but that could've been there for ages. For now, however, I'm happy ;-)
