Anyone has any opinions to share about nexus?

My budget has been stretched on a rack until it resembles slenderman, then broken, shot at, chopped and burnt. Truly, it's looking more beat up than Alex Murphy at the end of the first act of Robocop.

But I might yet be able to squeeze some more blood out of it's still twitching corpse.

I've only played it a little but what I saw I liked. There's also a pretty healthy modding community with some addons that increase its playability. I'd say its worth a go if you like space stuff...

But how does it play? There are two main kinds of space-y games: One is getting in a spacefighter and flying hard and fast while dogfighting alien bombers, the other is going in the bridge of the enterprise and bossing people around.

From reviews I take it's more of the second, but that can become very boring when all you see of your decisions is numbers and readouts.
