Stilton: Do you ever do anything that isn't 'full speed ahead'? ;-)

EndreWhiteMane: He's gonna get himself in a jam if he keeps trying to butter us up with these puns. ;)
I love this forum, a nice friendly little slice of life. :-)
Either you managed to bend well enough to get ahold of some caffeine, or your brain's just working a lot better in general than mine.
I'm not managing to come up with bread puns at all. And I just sat here and tried. At 4:01 in the morning. -laughing hard-

AgentBirdnest: I got plenty of new games from the sale that I will play in about 14 years from now, which is *actually* exciting :-)
avatar
CarrionCrow: What have you ended up with?
Not a lot, but a satisfying haul. 6 games - 5 from my wishlist, and 1 impulse buy.
Finally bought Robin Hood after having it on my wishlist for about 12 years. I'm excited to try my impulse buy (Driftmoon), after hearing some positive things about it in this thread. And I'm *really* excited to play Lumino City, which I have been looking forward to since I first played Lume a few years ago.

Stilton: I'm assuming there's going to be a round three at some point, as per past Insomnias. Is this a likelihood, or am I barking mad?
I'd say it's a 99.99999 percent probability. It's a standard rule at this point. If GOG didn't step in very early and say otherwise, they'd have a horde of extremely pissed off people to deal with.

Both
Hey, Agent, I got a copy of Medal of Honor War Chest and finally found out where you got your avatar, which had been on my mind for some time. No sign of any birds, though...

That's cool. Getting those long standing wishlist items is always a good thing.

I still need to load up my copy of Driftmoon, and ended up getting Lumino City thanks to people's recommendations of it, yours included. =)

Hi, Stilton.
Ah, yes... Sometimes I forget that my avatar is from MoH. The main reason I chose it is because my grandfather was a US Army Ranger, and it seemed like a decent tribute :-)
(He was 6th battalion though... The MoH:AA cover depicts 2nd battalion.)

Bumberluppins left about a month ago. He was really horny. You can't get a lot of bird-on-bird action on Omaha Beach...

OK, I still don't know how to write one reply to multiple posts like this.
Could you enlighten me?

Call him back, then train him to treat enemy eyeballs as a sort of sex toy for birds? Could be a win-win for you both. =)

Does he/did he tell you any stories of what it was like? War stories from people who were there are amazing. My grandmother used to tell me about the Luftwaffe's night time bombing raids, which I found fascinating.

Normally it goes like this:
Click reply button to first person, copy stuff. Close reply window and click reply to the second person and insert the copied stuff from before ;-) I do not think there is any easy way of doing multi-replies :D

I would never want to have to explain that purple heart. :/

I'm not sure if there's a quicker way, but I do the old cut and past - select the text you want to quote from each post panel that opens, paste it into Notepad and edit, and then paste the result into your new post.

Like I said, my pc skills are roughly stoneage, so there's probably a better way of doing it...

That's definitely a story you want to be on the winning side of before explaining. Otherwise, like you said, that's gonna get all kinds of awkward in a hurry. -laughs-
