Finally the day came back on the right track. Repaired the entrance door after cutting it down cause the lock fell apart and blocked it totally and replaced all the stuff - no thanks to any repair company just my dad and my helpfull neighbour. Got the three done also. That was a really shitty birthday I must say.

4 and a half hours left till Christmas !!!!

Merry Christmas to you all :)

The game I'm currently playing: get 2014 tax organizers customized and printed out for 700 clients before 5:00pm for mailing Friday.

I hope everyone's day is more relaxed and around more fun people than mine. Merry Christmas Eve to all, soon to revert to plain old Merry Christmas for the Europeans. Enjoy your holiday!

EDIT: And Merry Christmas already to the Australians. :)

Hi everyone!

Merry Christmas Eve (or Christmas if it's already Christmas where you are)!

Hope everyone's had a nice day. Just had our traditional ham that we have every year on Christmas Eve, and a seasonal amount of alcohol :)

I give up on this species... Owls are way better.

I don't know. The human race is alright in my opinion. Sure, we can be brutal to one another and we ARE destroying the very planet that supports us but I think the human race can do wondrous things. In my opinion the greatest way humans redeem themselves is through art such as Videogames/Films/Books. Often these constructed realities make me fell far more than the one I am currently in. I've bored you enough already so I'll close by saying that what you said was probably a joke and even if it wasn't I can completely see where you are coming from. I am close to giving up on humanity but I still have some hope left. If they bring out a sequel to S. Darko maybe I'll give up.
Haha! That last bit almost made me spit on my keyboard :D

I was joking about "giving up on this species" (but depending on when you ask me, I might be serious. My opinion tends to change.)
I actually stole the line from one of my favorite comedians, Brian Regan. His full quote -
I'm lookin' at the Pop-Tarts box and I notice they have directions on there. I give up on this species.
Overall, I think humans are pretty decent. We have our share of bad apples, but I believe that most of us are truly good and beautiful creatures. I think a lot of people focus too much on the negative stuff. I do that most of the time, but when I change my perspective a bit, and focus on the little things that I see everyday (the things I won't ever see in the news,) it makes me feel pretty happy to be human. Then again, I am "mentally unstable", so my opinion could change tomorrow.

And by the way, you didn't bore me. I thought it was an interesting post.

I thought I'd check this newish general thread as the drunk thread is beginning to smell and the hermit cave's towel have weird brown stains on them.

*Grab a seat, open a cold one, look around, fart but hide the sound with a belch.

So, this looks like a swanky place, where are the sausages?
I've just been playing Path of Exile with a friend for the last hour.

And remembered why I haven't run it in nearly 8 months.

Yeah, not a fan.

There are no sausages, it's an all you can eat pigeon buffet.

Hush now, it's the King's speech.

You know, when I was a kid, I used to look forward to the christmas TV specials, they seemed new, fresh, interesting almost magical.

Now I'd prefer to be anally raped with a spiked bat.

To me, Christmas Eve and Christmas itself are rather depressing dates, the company I'm; 'obligated' to spend them with doesn't particularly help either.

The forum however is a place of solace in these dark moments or crippling self loathing and undirected rage and disgust.

Merry christmas to all and play many good games.

It would just be nice if they made new Christmas Specials occasionally... it always seems to be repeats of the same things every year. Same specials, same best of lists, same movies...

Barbecuing those in a bit, unless you'd rather cook them in a pan/microwave or just eat them cold. No judgments here.
We'll be doing the undoubtedly-soon-to-be-tradition of scavenging every nook and cranny for alcohol in a while as well.

Ask Crow about his pigeon roast special.

Replace undirected with near-universal and you're beginning to speak my language.

That reminds me....actually got the stuff set up (aside from a decent headset, but I'll cover that when I can) to stream a few piles of soul-annihilating garbage, the types of which I imagine alien species will use in humanity's trial as evidence that we should all be vaporized.

Thank you. I am just starting out here and the community is so nice. Merry Christmas. I hope you get some nice gifts or whatnot.
