CarrionCrow: Shit...Wasteland 2's 9.2 gigs. So much for shutting the downloader off today.
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Agreed, I have soooo many games that sales are pretty unimportant at this point but D:OS has been on my wishlist the longest. It's not one that gets a sale very often.

Crow! Sic 'em! (Wasteland 2)
avatar
CarrionCrow: Already done. ;) -laughs-
At that price how could you not? Comes around again I might too. ;)

I'm gonna come out of this with a bad 'tude. Some awfully nice stuff going by.

There's more than one round. You'll get more shots. =)

Yes, but remember my (lack of) game budget. :-)

tinyE: Anyone here play Aarklash?
Uh huh. Played it, beat it.

Main thing it's got going for it is the active pause-based combat, like Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale if Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale had a brain damaged cousin who tried to emulate their moves but fell apart when it came to anything involving talking.

I haven't but I gather it's about 90% combat. Hard to beat the price if you like that.
I managed to get Wasteland 2... which concludes my participation in the sale for the day,
since I only allow myself one purchase per day.

Haven't bought anything since getting F.E.A.R. and I've already played through the game,
and am halfway through the first expansion.

Your self control is admirable.
I don't like you anymore.
:-)
Good night friends. So much backlog to read through...

Meanwhile, let me regale you with tales of high adventure:

Earlier I drank the brine from a jar of spicy pickles.

I REGRET NOTHING!

EDIT: Proof I'm getting old, had to increase default font size on firefox to read comfortably.

I usually put pickle vinegar on chips. Or use it in cooking.

I don't see what there would be to regret.

I've shown my usual restraint, and now have 8 less items on my list - Wasteland 2, Dreamfall Chapters, Thunderscape, Braveland Wizard, Great Battles Collector's Edition, Labyrinth of Time, Sir You Are Being Hunted and Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms. =)

I'm going to be banging my head staying up all night as I passed on Wasteland first go. Want to see what else the sale brings... but I guess I have to make it a true insomnia, staying up at the *ahem* 11th hour (current insomnia seasoned pun intended) waiting to see it again. We all know that's half the fun!
I just accepted the facebook friend proposal of the archaeologist who is helping me with my thesis. It feels weird having someone as 'friend' that is actually in the working field I am trying to get in. On the other hand, I guess it's good to have connections.

CarrionCrow: Yeah...tech support is obnoxious all on its own. I imagine having to deal with people on top of that would make it all so much more infuriating.
I was tech support.

That should explain everything.

If there's no pain involved, it's not an Insomnia sale. ;)

Like Endre, you'll get extra shots at what you want, so long as you're willing to suffer for them.

It's kinda funny, 25 percent of the items have already been shown. It's picked up speed well.
