CarrionCrow: Okay, what sounds better?

Buying in bulk, or picking and choosing what feel like high priority items?
Depends on where you live.

EndreWhiteMane: Depends, you want to own the whole catalog or clear up your backlog some day?
Not worried about having the whole thing. That's a game no one can win.

I just want my wishlist cleared.

Well, I don't get any regional pricing spankings, but I also don't get any regional pricing perks. Flat playing field overall.

What percentage of the 'bulk' clears wishlist items?
And how little extra to just get them all? For me bulk has sometimes been less money.

Edit: Or are you talking full price (gasp) items?

XD That's not what I meant.
If you live next door to the store, pick and choose. If you live 50 miles from the store, buy in bulk. :D

The bulk buying would be purely to clear out list items, and preferably ones that will complete series. Have over 40 list items from series that are incomplete, and that bugs me.

To get everything right now would be way more money than I have to spend at this point.
Otherwise, I'd have just dropped the couple grand and done it by now. -laughs-

I'm getting everything from GOG, so no distance considerations there.

One nice thing, I cleaved my rental wishlist down to two, and those two are only because I really enjoy Max Payne.

Well you didn't clarify! :P Shit, I thought you were talking about groceries. XD Sorry about that.

-laughs- I already got groceries. (Narrowly avoiding running people over with a shopping cart in the process.)
Now it's time to compulse over video games since the game I pre-ordered isn't here for a week and a half, and the other game that looks interesting isn't here for 3 and a half weeks.

So, the 'priority items' are the one's you have an interest in playing and not just to fill gaps?

Yeah, those would be the ones that I'd play sooner, rather than shoving in the enormous folder on my desktop to play at some unknown point in the future.

I would definitely go with the priority ones. But then the series thing really doesn't bother me, I have several games where I've picked the best of the series and don't care about the rest.

On another note, it's killing me that I get paid in 33 hours and all the sales end in 28. :-)

I have to complete the series if GOG has them. It bugs me otherwise.

What are you thinking of grabbing from the sales?

As usual I'd probably come to my senses and buy nothing but Cultures has been wishlisted for a while and Last Tinker looks pretty cool.
What I should do is hold off and finally get Divinity regardless of price, it's the oldest item on my wishlist and I'm not sure a sale will happen any time soon.

The only sale that's pretty much set in stone would be Summer. Not like GOG's going to pack it in and let the competition get all the money.

Otherwise, though, who knows. It's frigging impossible to plan anything since you never know til the last second.

The game's supposed to be really good, but dropping 40 is still quite a bit of coin comparatively.

One nice thing - I can help rid you of some of your dilemma.
When you have a moment, feel free to check your PM's. =)

Don't worry about owing me anything. It sucks seeing a sale but not having cash at the moment to take advantage. Enjoy the game. =)
