I'm fine, thank you...
I just finished studying, and I was thinking about going for a late walk over the dikes.
Appart from that, not much interesting going on in Flanders. Reading up politics in the newspapers is kinda fun though.
We basicly have this centre right christian democratic party, which is as left or right as it needs to be to farm votes at different times (christian dogs, pah), and these jerks who just got a load of new members from our very own fascist party (Vlaams Belang), and they are called the NVA (new flemish alliance).
The latter have a policy of turning our country into an economic dog-eat-dog-jungle, like taking away benefits from old people and pension funds, saving money on public transportation (where they can't get much money), and recently, they passed this law which said that "people without jobs, who are without jobs because they have to spend all their time caring for an ill family member, will lose their right for a state funded minimal income henceforth".
The christian party, however, was all for this kind of stuff during the elections, because in stupid flanders you actually win votes with that kind of crap (-_-), but now that they are a big part of parliament, they constantly brawl with the other big party, the NVA, over the most idiotic affairs.
And the socialists pointed out how the NVA snobs where funneling shiploads of money to luxembourgian bank accounts a while ago. No comment from the NVA...
But the funniest part still, is that all these politicians talk out of their asses, and seeing the DUMB things they say to and about each other, and themselves is really funny.
eg, in an interview a big time NVA member accused the marxist party (yay Marx) of trying to win votes amongst immigrant populations by encouraging muslim terrorism XD
hell, as soon as I have my degree(s), I'm leaving this sad place
