adaliabooks: Evening all :)

Just finished a busy day prepping for tomorrow, first busy weekend of the year (hopefully anyway).

How is everyone here?
Good luck with your busy weekend! Hopefully it will be the first of many.

CarrionCrow: That is awful....absolutely awful. I'd rather sleep on the floor in the living room.

And the cheerleader-themed one feels like the only thing missing is a brainwashing pod in the corner.
Well I did tell you my last guess was pure evil. I can just picture you in that room playing some horrible games. :-)

How are you this evening? I hope you had a good sleep earlier?

ddickinson: Can you class one extra person as making the place more lively?

Did your secret mission prove to be useful?
I can... I don't know if anyone else would :-P But now we've got two extra people! Good afternoon, Crow!

I'm awaiting my performance review for this mission. I should have it on Monday.

Well I hope you get a favourable report. Just remember that the report will self destruct after reading it. Or is that Inspector Gadget? :-)

IMF Agents always had self-destructing reports.
"Good morning, Mr. Phelps [...] This tape will self destruct in 5... 4... 3... " :-)

(Thank you. I'm confident that I won't have any negative marks.)

Yes, I did. No waking up from things involving fire, that's always nice.

Got up, ran some errands, threw some money at people to shut them up, came back, did some housework, ate a burrito roughly half the size of my forearm, and now I'm here. =)

Glad to hear your partner's starting to turn the corner with the flu. I know someone who ended up being virtually bedridden for 2 weeks when they got it.
Some seriously nasty strains going around this year, apparently.

Aside from that, how's your day been?

Good afternoon. =)

I'm sorry that your doctors are suffering from selective memory loss regarding the effects of medication.
Hopefully they'll get that worked out so you don't have to feel like crap while they screw around.

Thanks. Still lurking around on my phone from bed (probably unwisely as I need to be awake again in just over 6 hours... and I'm not a hearty farm girl who can get by on 5 hours sleep)

Waking up to no fire is always a good thing. It sounds like you had a fun day with your errands.

I thing the antibiotics have been a big help for my partner. She is still quite ill, but at least things are looking good.

I am doing good, thank you. If you had asked me before I got home then I would of said I was still a bit "meh", but coming home to my partner Awake and smiling has cheered my day up.
Good Morning All:-)

Well if there are any negative marks and you want someone to talk to, you know where I am, and you know the thread members are here for you. *big hug*

At least you are in bed so you can just go to sleep once you are tired enough. I have not been sleeping too good this last week or so, so I have been getting by on a lot less sleep then usual. Hopefully it will get better and I can get my whole 4-5 hours sleep.

Morning, Gunny!

How are you enjoying your weekend so far?

I got everything done quickly, which always helps. Not a fan of going slowly, casually doing this and that.
Would rather get it all done in one fast shot.

Funny how that works. You can feel like crap, but you see someone you care about feeling better, and it makes you feel better as well.

Funny how that works. You can feel like crap, but you see someone you care about feeling better, and it makes you feel better as well.
With you saying you like to get them all done in one fast shot, I picture your day like a crazy platformer game, with you jumping around achieving all your tasks. :-)

It is funny how that works. But part of it is that I do not get to see my parter much during the week, other than a few hours on the evenings, so when she is ill and in bed, I missing the time we have together. But even tonight when she spend most of the time dozing off, it was still nice cuddling up and talking. It's the little things that always cheer me up.

I'm getting used to their incompetence... I proved twice last year that I am smarter than them, and I intend to do so again very soon. I gotta stop seeing these stoners. (I could swear I smelled weed in my doctor's office this week o__O)
