Played some of the new oddworld yesterday, absolute perfection.

Oddworld is one of those games that I've always known about but never actually played.
Don't really play many platformers any more though (it is a platformer isn't it?)
Glad to hear it's good though, some of things people were saying about it made it seem like a bit of a poor remake.

I'm doing pretty well. I just got back from my top secret mission, and am feeling pretty good.
I don't play many platformers either. There are a few recent ones that I really enjoyed, like Trine and VVVVVV... But for the most part, I just don't care about the genre much these days. Maybe I will be in the future. I often get tired of themes or genres and come back to them a few years later.

I'm fine, it would be just my luck if the thread does start filling up as I have to go to bed, what with needing to be up for 4am tomorrow. But hopefully it will be worth it :)

The only platformers I play much these days are Mario games, and even then I don't get them all any more. I do like the look of the one they just released (but it depends what they mean when they say 3D platformer) as I miss 3D platformers like you used to get on the N64.

I suppose Rogue Legacy probably counts as a platformer and I did enjoy that.

It usually floods up right as I'm going to bed... I like to go to sleep at around 4:00 in the afternoon and wake up ad midnight. I don't know why, but that schedule just makes me feel a bit more happy and energetic.

I still have my NES and SNES hooked up, and still play Mario games. My biggest regret in my life is selling my N64 - but on the other hand, I used that money to get into PC gaming :-)

I'm doing good thank you. I came home to my partner up and out of bed, which was wonderful. She is still not too good, and has spend most the night asleep cuddled up with me on the sofa, but it's great seeing her awake more. So that has definitely cheered me up today.

That is awful....absolutely awful. I'd rather sleep on the floor in the living room.
